  1. Norm will be fired soon as he has dragged Hawaii down to the depths of college football. 4-20 record (1-11 last year). Horrible play calling and poor clock management. Tickets sales way down. No. 93 recruiting class in 2013. Hope Morita has a parachute plan. If not, free fall city.

Nobody with any sense would want him as an OC now, especially since he hates recruiting players and no longer attracts talent because he’s diluted his brand so much since Carroll kicked him to the curb all those years ago.

          • Why would Kiffin, who insisted on calling plays at USC as HC, and admitted such publicly, want Chow, another so-called pure play caller who he had bad history with? Trusty Wiki? You believe that tripe? Made up.

            Chow himself knows his enemy at the time, Kiffin, had absolutely no desire to bring him to USC. None. Garrett wanted Chow, before, like Chow, he was himself shown the door and became irrelevant. Chow never got anything remotely close to an offer, never would have, and he was the absolute last guy Kiffin wanted on his staff.

            On a scale of reliability from 1 to 10, with 1 being an utter lack of reliability, and 10 being the actual Bible, I would rate the Wolfman’s reporting as an 11!

            We do know that Scottie wasn’t actually listening to any conversations. None. He’s repeating what he thinks a coach who disliked him intensely said to another coach. That’s all. Kiffin never told Scottie anything other than what he wanted at that moment. The truth was irrelevant.

            What you printed is essentially code for, “You’re never going to be my OC, but Garrett wanted me to call you anyway. So, here’s my call.”

            There are some people here who actually know what went on outside of the media. I’m one of those. So I don’t care what you say about Scottie’s or any other writer’s reporting. And if you think Scottie’s reporting is an 11 – as I said, you’re one of the stooges.
