    Always the pessimist Scottie.

    • UCLA Bleauz

Looks like Chicken LIttles negative energy has been duly rewarded….

      • gotroy22

That’s right, it’s Scott’s fault we wilted in OT.

        • UCLA Bleauz

You seem to interpret Wolf negativity as being him being a “realist”…….okay….. I get it…..that’s about as positive as you’ll ever get…..and your sarcasm has been duly noted……

          • gotroy22

Is “duly noted” your phrase or the day or the phrase that pays?

    • gotroy22

You mean realist. Now no more soccer for 4 years!

  • rusoviet

Down 0 – 1 in OT – so be it – it appears Fort Eban Emmel shall prevail!

  • rusoviet

    Down 0 – 2 – c’est finit!

  • rusoviet

Let’s get back to being bored with something else – golf perhaps?

  • UCLA Bleauz

It appears that the U.S. are wilting like Scotties hairpiece on a hot, humid day….

  • rusoviet

Good game – see you in four years

  • NOBSisdaMAN

      • NOBSisdaMAN

        Double hahahahahahahahhaaa DELETED. Hahahahahaha

  • john wolcott

Not a soccer fan except in the World Cup, and only if the US is playing, but that was a heroic effort by our boys in the closing minutes. They tried and tried, and actually made it a dramatic finish after being behind 2-0.
Again, soccer’s problem with an American public weaned on American football is that there is no reward for a beautiful march down the field (whereas football has the consolation prize of a field goal), and goals (i.e.. touchdowns) are too difficult to convert
But if the game matters i.e. USA is playing, it is an exciting sport

    • UCLA owns LA Football

Is that why SUCC doesn’t field a Men’s Soccer team?

      • Mike 70

We choose not to. Got it?

        • gotroy22

That’s right, we have to save for that $4 billion endowment. No money for soccer.

          • NOBSisdaMAN

Goo goo, we don’t HAVE a $4 billion endowment. When are you going to get it? The “University” does. Athletics does NOT.

          • gotroy22

We are SC, right Garry Bleauz?

          • NOBSisdaMAN

No we really aren’t. EACH “school” has their own profit/loss AND they can have their own “endowment”.

          • NOBSisdaMAN

In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the $4B is a combo of all “schools”

          • https://www.facebook.com/charles.bucket.3 Charlie Bucket

As was pointed out on this blog recently Southrn Cal is the Poor Cousin among private universities…no dinero, mang.

          • NOBSisdaMAN

And you’re no brain. EDIT. DELETE. Hahahahahaha

          • gotroy22

No brain is USC giving Hillary $200,000 last Novmeber.

          • NOBSisdaMAN

            TRUE

          • gotroy22

That’s right, we have to hoard our money so we can play the stock market and real esttate markets and brag to the other schools.

          • UCLA Bleauz

            Fight on, corn holio……

          • UCLA Bleauz

Are you suggesting that we’re well endowed?….

          • Mike 70

No one cares about soccer! Now do you get it?

          • gotroy22

Does anyone care about water polo? Yet we have two teams for that obscure sport.

  • Mike 70

Sorry USA lost but glad this is done…

  • rusoviet

Nice to see a soccer/tennis center at the old Sports Arena – start a mens soccer team and have both men/women use it and when we play bel-air tech we’ll do home/away at the same site just like we’ll do, per that move by the ACLU, when we play baseball…
