first off, the writer of the song said it wasn’t. he was hardly the religious type having committed suicide after being charged with drugging and raping 11 woman.
second, the crucial lyric “how can it be wrong when it feels so right” can hardly be interpreted as being about Jesus!
more likely it was about an illicit love affair.
other interpretations conjecture the lyrics are about drugs or unconventional sexx acts.
