Player Spotlight: Angelo Coia

COIAUSC tailback Angelo Coia played at The Citadel his freshman year and then followed his coach, Al Davis, to USC in 1957. Coia then switched to split end and played seven seasons in the NFL with the Bears, Redskins and Falcons.

  2. Can’t wait to see Scotty’s card of Papa Petros shoveling down a huge bowl of spaghetti and meat balls while mumbling on the air with his punk kid.

Part of the ’59 team that was a great team;I think he was considered the fastest football player college or pro;also ran track as a sprinter.I attended all the home games and going into the UCLA game they were undefeated,we lost,and then they went to ND and lost in the snow;still a great year.
