Sam Darnold Highlights

I usually refrain from showing high school highlights but San Clemente QB Sam Darnold’s are interesting because he has more plays running than passing, so maybe he is well-suited for the new offense.

  1. This guy is a FB player. But whether he can last a full 12 game Pac-12 Conf. season w/o injury is the question. This guy is a huge target and he doesn’t seem to mind initiating contact. That works for SD in HS games, but won’t work as well in college FB.

    • Yeah, that shocked me too. One of the rare times Scottie says something positive.

  2. This is the guy three weeks ago Scotty was saying was not a running QB. Amazing what you can find out when you do a little research. Hi Scotty’s mom.

  3. Interesting player. I like that he has a big enough frame that if he doesn’t pan out at QB, he could switch positions. He and Greene are alike in that sense.

    • Question is…When is 7-win Sark going to get his 7thwin next season…against Colorado, or the following week vs. Utah?

Regarding the 3 stars…Perhaps El Lobo told him that he
should emulate Mora, who already has four 3-star commits out of 10 (40%). 7-win only has three 3-star pledges out of 12…a paltry 25%. So I surmise that 7-win is saying, “Bite Me!” to the suggestion. After all, as the T-shirt says, “Our 3 are better than your 4”…or something to that effect.
‘Bite On’ Mr. Trogan. I look forward to your future posts. Too bad you are so ashamed of them…must be, otherwise you wouldn’t need to hide under the cloak of privacy on this board, as do your buds… Bucket, gotroy, and Betomas. Birds of a feather I assume.

    • Layla, can you decipher this classic post of yours:

Governor Sark disagrees. Talking about consumed your the President of UCLA honks consumed with a USC blog. Look in the mirror and try to see the little boy that had so much promise but ended up a Ruin lurking on USC board trying to make his life have meaning.

Is this the best the University of Florida can produce, Layla?

      • Another swing and miss for Scotty’s mom.
Keep bringing all your knowledge and insite to the blog. It takes lots of strength to carry your son and USC on your back. Fight on.

        • “insite”?????????????? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you just come back from Sunday brunch in MB where you had one too many champagne cocktails again, Layla?

  4. I just see another Max Wittek. And look at how horrible the defense plays. No discipline. I do hope he’s a great one.
