I think Hundley and Jack will be the first ever co-winners of the Heisman. Both leading the baby blues to their first National Championship. Then the Ruins will get their own blog and peace and harmony will exist in the world.
After all, they ARE the favorites!…….don’t choke now, Scruins……
It would almost be worth it if, as a result, the UCLA trolls promised to leave this blog and bathe in their own vitriol elsewhere.
That’ll never happen… heck, they don’t even bother to comment on Wangs blog….VB is the only “fan” doing any posting…And his comments consist of “Man I can’t wait!!!!!”….. LMAO
Snuck a peek did you?
Nobody else does…….
So what?…. this award has been watered down, IMO……each schools spends a ton of $$ on promotional campaigns and the coaches always say just right things to support their player, no matter how undeserving they may be…..Can you say Gino Torretta? He beat out Marshall Faulk for the Heisman back when it wasn’t cool to vote for underclassmen…..what a joke….Jason White?… Eric Crouch?…
Matt Leinart?
Gary Beban?
Who? Oh you mean that guy who’s professional stat line make’s Leinart’s pro career look HOF worthy?
Exactly……and that’s no easy feat…..
I’m not the one talking about the recent watering-down of the Heisman.
No, you’re absolutely right…..you contribute nothing of substance…..you just take the easy way out with cheap shots that require very little thought process…. good for you, Corky!
LOL. BURN! What great insight did “the Heisman is watered down” take? Is it watered down simply because no trogan is going to win it? Or did it become watered down right after Leinart won it?
If you incapable, or unwilling to read my prior posts, than I am done with you…. I don’t spoon feed trolls…. have a nice life……
The freshman RB from LSU, Leonard Fournette, has the same odds of winning the Heisman as Buck Allen???….
How can Hundley or Jack even be mentioned – UCLA only has 78 scholarship players! That’s only 7 more than SC, and we know that USC can’t possibly perform with so few players.
Says who?????? ….we won the exact same number of games as UCLA last season…..AND we beat Stanford, unlike the Bruins, who have not beaten the trees for the last three seasons……. FACT!
You needed an extra game to win 10 (Hawaii? LOL). But that’s not my excuse, it’s the Trogan faithful here crowing about how few players they have.
Winning 10 games is winning 10 games… no excuses…. you can’t have it both ways, home boy….
actually, you can. If UCLA plays Hawaii in an extra game they’re at 11 wins. Hang your hat on whatever you want, but we both know UCLA’s season was better.
I never said that it wasn’t better, blow hard……feel free to interpret my comments however they best serve your needs, nimrod….
“blow hard” and nimrod” in the same sentence. He really got you there, Trogan!
And lost to your top two rivals (at home!) for the second year in a row, including a 35-14 spanking by your big brothers, the Mighty Bruins. No comparison–your not in the same class as UCLA, but someday the gutty little trojans could climb back up into the nation’s elite. I’ll leave you with this little note coming out of UCLA training camp:” Listed at 6-foot-3, 222 pounds last season, quarterback Brett Hundley said he is up to 230 pounds and down to 10 percent body fat.”
Hundley is looking very strong, to be sure….I’ve been saying all along that UCLA should win the Pac-12 South and Hundley should win the Heisman, or else this season will be a miserable failure…..USC is not an elite team, at this stage…. nobody will argue you on that…..now the real question is, is UCLA an elite team?
But lost to Washington St. 10 – 7.
while being coached by Kiffin……. and thank you, Captain Obvious…..
The word “Heisman” and “USC” being mentioned in the same sentence? Hilarious. Keep the yucks coming Wolfman! If a USC player wins the Heisman this year I will, literally, eat my hat.
Not much of risk of that happening… way to play it safe……
…but will you pick up after your dog?
