USC Morning Buzz: Josh Shaw’s Big Summer

Senior cornerback Josh Shaw finally spent an offseason where he knew what position he would play without being switched. He also delivered the commencement speech at the athletes’ graduation ceremony and then helped deliver the winning presentation during a summer internship at a large commercial real-estate company. “Last week, Shaw was part of a group of nearly 30 USC players and coaches that went to Joshua Tree for a bonding session that involved performing some grueling physical tasks. Shaw said he climbed a mountain with a tire around his neck.”…. is this little Scotties feeble reference to the Navy Seal drills that were previously reported by other sources?……Why the obvious omission, Wolf?

Scottie’s lucky to lumber around to the various statues on campus. Can you imagine Wolfie actually climbing anything? That would be hilarious to see. Would definitely be worth watching tape on.

Scottie would probably be willing to climb a set of stairs for a Five Guys Burger…..and fries and peanuts, of course…..

Somehow he gets to the top of the stadium to take those nose-bleed videos.

Wolf walks around 24/7 with a spare tire.

Shaw comes accross very impressive in interviews. Well thought out and spoken.

Nelson Agholor is also very articulate….he did a good job on the recent Spreecast…..

According to reliable sources (not here, obviously), Kenny Bigelow was seen riding a stationary bike, which is low impact, and helps maintain flexibility, reduces scar tissue buildup and does not require lateral movement

USC Mens BB team will be playing in the Charleston Classic in November…..they may wind up playing the OTHER USC, from the other coast…..but not very likely, the way that the brackets are set up…..
