The defense enjoyed a good day with defensive tackle Leonard Williams making three tackles in the first five plays of a controlled scrimmage situation. Tight end Bryce Dixon had a touchdown catch but left practice early with cramps. Offensive lineman Jordan Simmons limped off as he is still not 100 percent from last season’s knee injury. Cornerback Devian Shelton, who intercepted a pass yesterday, sprained his ankle.

Steve Sarkisian said punter Kris Albarado would be “first-team all-conference” if he punts during the season the way he did the first three days of camp. That’s D.J. Morgan (above) playing safety and tackling walk-on Christian Tober.

  1. Your 4 Star tight end, recently confirmed the rumors of him having those “Dreaded character issues”….will continue to be a valuable asset to the dysfunctional football team by participating in workouts and practice sessions. Like many over at Fig Tech, he will be a Terrific practice player but he will NEVER show up on Saturday’s.
    fit Un!

  2. What do you know, Wolf posts something and our buddy Thai is the first to comment with a non sensical, rambling, off topic sermon intended to do nothing more than elicit rebuttals.
You can set your watch by it.

  3. Seems the Honks protest to much. I think the baby blues are getting nervous and pressure over in Wastewood is driving them to drivel all over this blog. Lets give them an 8 clap and towel wave to calm them down.

    • With a top 10 preseason ranking and high expectation comes pressure….some teams can handle it, others implode…..let’s just sit back and enjoy the show

      • Sorta like SUCC’s 2012 “Unfinished Bidness” season. SUCC set a NCAA record for most losses (6) in a season, by the Pre-Season #1 team. I gotta say bleauz, SUCC didn’t choke when it came to establishing that record 6 loss season.

        • Stick with THIS season, Owns Syndrome…..as usual, you change the focus of the conversation to what happened in the past, which is such an easy target……UCLA are CURRENTLY ranked #7……let’s see where their season goes from here, shall we?…is that too difficult for you to understand?

          • Haha, now that’s rich. Coming from the guy who can’t stop living in 2005. But you’re right – stick to today, where all we know is that UCLA’s won 2 straight in pounding fashion and SC’s scrambling to just keep up.

          • You’re another dolt who can’t manage to stay on topic…..hate on, and enjoy your #7 ranking…..

          • Is the season already over, No Brain Fan?…. you’re getting WAY ahead of yourself, but keep on hating on

          • no, I’m going on the present. The present is that UCLA owns SC. I’m not ahead of anything. November will just solidify this.

    • Yes, thank you. I won’t mention Sark trolling the local police blotters looking for TE prospects.

    • Seems that Torgans can’t help but comment on UCLA in every post. Someone’s feeling pressure, but it ain’t in Westwood.
