With Jabari Ruffin out for the season, safety Su’a Cravens is playing linebacker in nickel situations. Cravens said it is similar to what Shaq Thompson did last season at Washington.
In normal defenses, Quinton Powell is now starting in Ruffin’s position. Powell said he was excited about his opportunity.
“This is ‘SC. This isn’t a regular school,” Powell said. “This is crazy.”
He still thinks it’s 2005! What’s in the water over there?
At least you are familiar with the season USC had 2005.. How did F UCLA do? Hold on… NO ONE CARES! (which is why you are here on this blog)
Why ask if no one cares?
Exactly!…..so my do you continue to make a fool of yourself?
because I came to me senses, while typing
Smart move.. I thought they would go with Juju Smith at this position instead, but Cravens there in Nickle situation is a solid idea as well.
I imagine that Cravens could play it every down, if that were the only solution. But reports put Powell in genuine competition with Ruffin, not a distant second.
