Sources say that Scott Wolf has taken his unique approach to covering USC to a point which has not gone unnoticed.
Coupled with the professionalism and energy being displayed by Reid Silverman and her “likeability” (Q rating) with fans and on the practice field, she will be a welcome replacement.
Like many others, including those in the USC athletic department, the school administrators, and the trustees, I too will welcome an early change that results in a return to civility and insightful reporting about a great institution which has a huge following in Los Angeles, nationally, and internationally.
Sally, the wolfman has been the trOXan beat writer for over 20 yrs…and will still be for another 20yrs.
Reid is a nice kid, but clearly not cut out for the rough and tumble world of big time Pac 12 sports blogging…at least not yet.
