Cole Smith Commits To USC

Mission Viejo center Cole Smith committed to USC today about a week after attending practice and telling everyone the Trojans were his first choice. Smith is the son of former Rams all-pro center Doug Smith, who was a USC assistant in the mid-1990’s.

  1. wow, look at all the excitement from the Trogan fans! I’m sure NOBS is jumping up and down at the news!

  2. FIGHT ON COLE SMITH!!! Don’t worry about the TROLLS on here buddy. You can read about and see how ridiculous they are.

    • If you say so Red. Cole a definite Div-1 red shirt prospect. He going to need a few extra pounds to survive in the Pac-12 as a center.

        • Oh yeah because we didn’t land the #1 center in the Nation in Perry!

Why are your eyes crossed Helen?

          • Posting on Wang’s blog is like a tree falling in the woods…..does it really make a sound?

          • Nice one Bleauz. And I’m sure I don’t have to remind you. The bRUINS are here on a USC site! They TROLL this like they have no life.

          • I agree…. and not only are they on a USC site, but few of them ever even post on the UCLA site….hilarious and pathetic

          • We have heard you over there, Bleauz! You are welcome anytime….the jousts are enjoyable!

        • He’s just obsessed with these young men’s weight. I’m starting to think he keeps a chart of each lineman’s daily weight and reports it back to everyone.

          Now THAT’s a fan.

    • Just to clarify for you Helen…UCLA has a commitment from the #1 rated center prospect according to scouts, Fred Ulu-Perry. Smith was always considered to be an SC recruit as his father coached at SC. UCLA was hardly “spurned” by a guy they wanted badly.

      • Just to accurately clarify PU… Ulu-Perry is rated the #8 center by Rivals and Cole Smith is rated as the #7 center.

        • Cole Smith is a 3 star on Scout and ESPN and Ulu-Perry is a 4 star. We will see down the road…but Smith did not “spurn” anyone. He chose SC because he always wanted to go to SC/
