  1. Scottie stars in the Sark presser from Fall Camp #13 (Sark video from 8/18) over at TributeToTroy. He’s standing behind Sark the entire presser and seems oblivious that Sark is speaking and keeps looking around like he’s looking for the pizza delivery boy to arrive. And is it just me or is Scottie looking more like Homer Simpson every day?

  2. Man, these freshmen sure are impressive. Saying the right things, working on conditioning after practice, etc. Like the feel that these kids are bringing to the team.

    • They certainly are a mature bunch of kids…….nice to see that they are recruiting kids with character…..

  3. Alright, all you trolls and haters….from Mama’s mouth to your ears…..he is NOT 400lbs and he’s actually losing weight….he also said that he is capable of playing 80 plays in a hurry up offense…..he’ll just keep getting better week after week…Fight on, Damien!

      • Ah, another dab baggin on a 18 year old kid. Do us a favor and jump off a roof. Fight on.

      • bruin true blue equals Bridesmaid U.

You little gutties are a tremendous joke. Since you lose most your bowl games and never get to the Rose Bowl game, what exactly are you Mighty Mermaids bragging about?

        • oh jackie B! Back in time we go… again! Must be so hard not to be able to live in the now. I also remember when USC mattered, years ago.

          • USC is well recognized as the best team in college football over the first 10 years of the 2000’s. Wow. We’ve had to go so far back! Not like you little gutty wimps who haven’t won a Rose Bowl in 30 or a split NC in 60. It must be terrible to have never been relevant in college football. That’s Bridesmaid U for you. Always the also-ran. Yuk, yuk…

          • You also forgot to mention SC is recognized for having changed the most coaches in a single season, ha!

          • And we STILL managed to win 10 games….name another college football team that did the same thing?

          • Thank God. Praise the Lord.

Kiffin was a downer and Orgeron wasn’t the long term solution. Just glad we didn’t sit around and wait any longer. Not sure about Sark either, but guys like Petersen and Sumlin weren’t sure bets in L.A. either.

          • ……and 10 wins was the outcome, nice!

PS…..go see wang!……he’s has something special for you……haha!!!

        • You weren’t even born the last time Southern Cal won a National Championship! The Daily Trojan and the Daily Fantasy National Championships don’t count!

          • What counts is 46-30. I just love that. You’re our slave, the little gutties.

Good luck to you this year. Hope you can finally turn things around, seriously.

Toejam For Life is the perfect name for you. Genius moniker for a genius guy.

Go little gutties! Beat The Curse!

        • You weren’t even born the last time Southern Cal won a National Championship! The Daily Trojan and the Daily Fantasy National Championships don’t count!

    • Bleauz….please don’t say from Mama’s mouth to my ears….it’s a frightful thought. Mama blocking is going to be like that steamroller scene in Austin Powers, moving very slowly toward you…if you can’t get out of the way of that you deserve to get rolled over.

      • Take a look at his HS tape and tell me about anybody that size that moves better. Do you and your elk think baggin on a 18 year old kid comes off well? If you’re not 18 yourself, you are a pathetic excuse for an adult and really should walk in front of a bus. Fight on.

        • He isn’t playing against high school kids here. He is playing against superior athletes that have speed with little time in between plays. If you think he can be effective at 379 lbs then you may want to rethink it. Do you really think he can be a pulling guard in front of a speedy running back and try to block much quicker linebackers? He has another 50lbs to go.

At UCLA we had a basketball player ruin his future by being too fat. Josh Smith ended up at Georgetown and cannot play a full game or any part of a full game because of his weight. He had an NBA game and a McDonald’s body. That doesn’t work so well.

Mama probably would not be playing if SC was not thin on the OL. Lobendahn is much smaller and is now recognized as a better lineman even though Mama was rated higher in high school.

          • Thanks for the lecture ProbyU. So strange. We were all unaware that Mama was in college now, against better athletes. Thanks for the revelation.

All stupidity aside, Mama’s obviously adjusting very well. losing weight, motivated and will play a lot early.

Who knows who will end up better, Lobendahn or Mama? Least of all you.

          • Apparently SoCal Native was unaware he is playing against better athletes. The high school tape means little at this point. I hope he does lose weight for his sake. His weight has obviously been a concern for the staff and for Wolf who put it in the title line for this post.

Not sure how impressive he has been. Your OL is the main area of concern as you already know. It isn’t like Aundrey Walker is a performer…just ask Matt Barkley.

          • Wrong. SoCal Native is well aware of the obvious ProbyU.

He simply pointed out you were bagging on an 18 yr old All-America who was good enough to sign with USC, one of the great programs in all of college football.

It was beneath you, but maybe not. Maybe that’s who you really are,

As far as your main area of concern goes, it’s your historically and consistently mediocre program. Just ask any follower of college football who’s not a bruin. They’ll all tell you the same thing.

Bridesmaid U/Underachiever U/Mighty Mermaid U all equal ucla because the little gutties never win the big one and never challenge on the national stage. Good luck with changing that perception this year. Pressure’s on. The Bridesmaids are calling you again.

          • Chad Wheeler and Audrey Walker were also good enough to sign with SC. They haven’t shown that they were up to traditional SC standards as well as Zach Banner. That is what created the opportunity for your freshmen.

          • Is that what created opportunities on the OL for the freshmen at UCLA last year?……basically replacing inferior talent?…..

          • Earth to ProbyU.

Not everybody can start at USC. Not every signee turns out since USC has more college AAs, more NFL Hall of Famers, etc, than any other school. Wow. I’m learning so much from you. Thanks for the education on USC football.

You’d be much better served worrying about the historically mediocre little gutties. Why have you only won 5 Rose Bowls in your entire existence and why do you have a losing overall bowl game record?

Any opinions on that, or do you only like bagging on 18 yr old USC freshmen?

          • Aundrey Walker performed poorly at LT, no doubt…..His inadequacies can be better masked playing guard…..and the jury is still out on Chad Wheeler at LT, although t he hurry up pace should hide his issues, as well.

          • “Mama probably would not be playing if SC was not thin on the OL.” …….At 377 lbs., we are hardly “thin” on the OL!…… Ha!

    • bleauz, it’s not uncommon for a teenager to make stupid statements. By definition – teenager = stupid; because, they know everything w/o the benefit of a shred of actual experience.

You know that, I know that, the coaches know that, in fact the only person who doesn’t know that is Mama.

Mama will learn a valuable lesson the night of 8/30 against Fresno St.

    • Oh jeez he wasn’t 400 he was 397, what did he do take a dump? I’m also able to play 80+ plays in a hurry up offense, on my XBox! Lets just hope he’ll make out okay after his 1st game

  4. If Mama is starting, then it seems that Aundrey Walker really doesn’t want to play and risk re-injuring his ankle and kill his draft position.

Yeah, he ain’t gonna be a first or second day pick, but he will be drafted, and he will make a team. 6′ 6″, 320 pounders who can pull move will make an NFL team.

    • I really hope that Walker isn’t going to sand bag this season away, especially since he really needs to improve his resume on game film…..he comes across as a gentle giant…I’d love to see him develop a bit of a nasty streak, like Max Tuerk…

      • I think by now, Walker’s already gonna have a nasty streak – or he isn’t. I doubt he’s gonna suddenly catch on to it and become a bad-ass when he’s never been like that before. He’s molded already. Staff’s still trying to light a fire under him. Hope it get’s lit and he manages to contribute, even if it’s only as a gentle giant.
