Rick Neuheisel Picks UCLA Over USC In Pac-12 South

Pac-12 Network analyst Rick Neuheisel, who visited USC yesterday and UCLA today, said he picks the Bruins to win the Pac-12 South.

`If USC stays healthy, they will be a really good team,” he said. “One thing (Steve Sarkisian) needs to realize is the numbers (of scholarship players) is different than at Washington.”

  1. According to UCLA honks and you Scotty numbers do not matter. Scotty you seem to allow anybody but USC coaches reference the challenge of scholarship numbers? I would ask you to explain but you don’t read the comments…………

      • Just asking that question shows how little you know about college football and recruiting. The overall number on the roster is only part of equation.

        • So in other words, you don’t know but will continue to cry about sanctions as you LOSE ON this season!

    • “Bias much”? You are absolutely on fire with the grammar today my man! Trogan on!

But really, the only person who’s picking SC over UCLA today is NOBS.

      • Obsessed much? You spend hours of each day here trying to convince us that you’re an UGLY fan and that they’re really, really good. Maybe you should take a few days off.

      • Sorry Grammer teacher.. I would consider your lesson, but you’re just a lame looking for attention..
roll over, Ill rub your belly

    • Um, your own Petros P is predicting UCLA will win it too. If he’s biased, then it means he’s jumped the SC bandwagon.

      • You’re right he (Petros) did – he’s a shill for 540 AM – even worse is his bloated cirrohis addled father over on Spaulding Field yukking it up w. Mora and the ‘ice bucket’ routine. Watch John Papadaklis w. no life clinging onto his own son’s life.

        • Actually Otis, Petros and Money shill for 570 AM. I’m not overly fond of Petros’ antics, but I know Petros and his family dearly love their eccentric father.

I also know Otis, no one loves you. Drink up!

      • who? Talk to me when you have someone with more credibility.. thats like saying Wolf is predicting UCLA.. LAME!

        • Well, um, EVERYONE is picking UCLA to win the south. Look, B, you are one of the smarter Trojans on here, and there’s a lot you can hold over UCLA, including that embarrassing 12-year period of domination, but this one is not disputable. Every major sports media outlet is picked UCLA and Oregon to win the divisions, respectively. Right?

  2. Note to Neuheisel: Sark understands the number of scholarship players is different at USC and UW and doesn’t need you to point this out.

  3. You always told us USC could win with 33 players Wolfie, like in the old days. I guess this means you think Slick Rick is an idiot, huh?

    • Come on, Slick Rick fibbed way less than Kiffy Goat; Kiffy always spoke with Forked-Tongue.

      • Exactly, at least he didn’t deflate balls, lie to his own players about his poil votes, cheat at halftime in jersey-gate, or use a Denny’s menu to hide his face in humiliation.

    • I understand Ronny, teenage freshmen FB claims are much more believable.

  4. The SUCLA quarterback is the biggest reason we cannot realistically believe SC will win that game.

    But stranger things have happened

  5. I’d be willing to bet that Slick Rick also thought UCLA would beat USC in 2011.
    How’d that turn out?

    • I can’t remember that far back. However, I do recall a certain SC quarterback laying flat on his back as an outmanned, outclassed gutty little trojan team fell to the Bruins in 2012 31-21, and were clown-stomped on their own field last year as the superior program humiliated them in a 35-14 blow out in the Mausoleum. Keep trying, Jethro.

  6. Thanks Rick! now go back under your disgusting powder blue a pee yellow rock with your guitar and memories of a 50 to 0 SMACK DOWN – BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA
It’s unbelievable how irrelevant sUcla is as a football program, now we got this clown telling us about how Sark should think??? Wow… all I got to say is …. wow

    • well then, wow it up, Dummy!!

Neu is simply saying what everyone else is saying!!

name ONE publication that has Southern Cal ranked ahead of UCLA or who pick Southern Cal to WIN the Pac12 South…..oh, NONE???

GEEZ LOUISE, even SMALL doses of obvious facts send Southern Cal Dummies into an emotional tailspin!!

i SHUDDER to think how losing a bunch of games in the first half of season will affect these Dummies!!

      #DX:EggShellPesonalities

    • Ah B-team, we both know the only relevant team in LA right now is the one that’s ranked #7 and the class of the Pac-12, along with Oregon. Speaking of relevance, though: Don’t worry, by 2020 the gutty little trojans might be approaching national relevance again. In the meantime, have fun watching the mighty Bruins get all the ink on ESPN as Hundley contends for the Heisman.

        • In case you forgot, just 9 short months ago we bit you to shreds and reminded you what winning football looks like, embarrassing your players and coaches on your home turf, 35-14. What was most sad was how the lil’ guttie troggie gave up before the third quarter was even over.

      • See this is the problem all true SC alumni and fans have regarding both the fDucks and the bRuins – Trojans don’t “contend” for Heismans or National Titles and become all jabber mouthy – Trojans GET Heismans and National Titles, THEN talk about it!
        #learntolivewithprideorwaitforbasketballseasontostart

        • Contend?! That’s even funnier than your last post. So when did pUSC contend for anything? Like a decade ago? Please, B Team. As I quote Mr. Mora: “Our goal at UCLA is to win a national championship.” That’s what we have our sights set on this year. How about pUSC? “Contending” for the Pac-12 south (which you have NEVER won)? Silly, gutty little trojans still living on the fumes of Carroll. Very sad indeed.

    • The UCLA trolls will never deny UCLA lost 50 – 0 in the mausoleum. We played with what we brung and offer no excuses.

On the other hand, no 41 point dog FB opponent has ever slapped around UCLA at the Rose Bowl.

UCLA had a bad day losing 50 – 0. But SUCC, losing to Stanford, a forty-one (41) point dog at the mausoleum, is an epic memorial to SUCC’s penny-ante tradition.

  7. The difference in the programs is simple: When SC is ranked in the Top 10, they’re thinking national championship. When UCLA is in the same ballpark, they’re still thinking Pac-12 South, Oregon, USC. Don’t punch down, UCLA! Go for it. Aim high, you gutty little bruins!

    • And… a swing and a miss! Quoting Mora: “We are here to win a national championship. That is our goal, and that is our purpose.” Now, SC may be thinking about winning the Pac-12 South, since you’ve NEVER won it, but the superior program in town is thinking national championship. Keep working at it, gutty little troggies–by 2020 your program might actually be relevant again.

      • Good for Mora! That guy is doing it right. He’s got to pull the Bruin Nation into that mentality – kicking and screaming. And yeah, SC has never won the South. (Though you must have had a sheepish grin when you made that statement, given that SC beat the Bru-Cru by a half-hundred to crown them with their 1st South title… 😉

    • You know your team’s in trouble when the prima donna’s start popping off in fall camp, and your OL is already decimated by injuries before the first game is even played. Looks like it’s gonna be a long year for the gutty little troggies.

    • Aiming for that national championship. The Bruins have the OL and DL depth, the best secondary in the Pac-12, the QB, and the receiving and running back corps. Let’s go, Bruins!
      #bruinrevolution

      • GAWD, leave that poor woman alone, she may be crazy but she doesn’t deserve to be hounded by a true nut!!

all she wants to do is play a little Texas Hold ’em with the girls, insult me a few times a month and be left ALONE!!

but not with Inspector Javert around!!!

  8. Well, Rick’s a better broadcaster than he was a coach, but of course, this prediction is no surprise. What would be interesting is to hear what some of the SC alum broadcasters are predicting, such as Petros.

  9. UCLA football has “1” National Championship [1954], that team was co-champions (UPI) !

That was “60” years ago and “again” that is only “one” and “none” since !!

    USC “Trojans” have won in 1962, 1967, 1972, 1974, 1978, 2003, 2004
since UCLA Football’s “only” National Championship in 1954 !!

Before “1954” the USC Trojans won the National Championship in 1928, 1931, 1932, 1939 !!!

    Thats “11 – 1” National Championships = USC
Thats “60” years ago their only “one” = UCLA

And “that’s” HUMILIATING if you are a UCLA Bruin fan !!!!

    Recommendation:

If you’re a UCLA Football fan, change/switch to a Cal Poly Pomona fan, your chances/odds will increase dramatically !

As a Los Angeles sports fan, UCLA, change your name; because “you” are embarrassing to the city of Los Angeles

    WHAT A JOKE (BAD…JOKE) !!!!!
