USC coach Steve Sarkisian said Josh Shaw could potentially return to the football team. Sarkisian said he still does not know how Shaw got hurt.

Punish him by making him miss 1/2 the season….he’ll get an extra week recovery time, because of the bye, then he can return in time for the Colorado game…..provided that he makes amends and earns back the reust of the coaches and teammates…..he still has a ways to go…..

    • Jack B

I’m interested. How’s Josh going to earn back this trust? Going to rehab? Bringing cookies to the McKay Center? Promising not to leap from balconies anymore? Starting a swim school for kids?

      • UCLA Bleauz

That’s between him and the team….. and it may never happen, and I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised….he needs to demonstrate remorse and be sincere….do you have kids?…’s just a gut feeling….he may be a much better liar than we all think……

        • Jack B

Yes, I have kids. What does that have to do Shaw’s newfound character?

          • UCLA Bleauz

Then I assume that you can usually tell when they are lying and when you can trust them……and when they are sincere and being remorseful……Shaw’s coaches and teammate should know in their guts if they can trust him….. that’s all

          • Jack B

USC’s coaches, AD, etc, all have numerous kids and they couldn’t tell Shaw was lying and they obviously couldn’t trust him in the least.

And just because a person is sincerely remorseful, and shocks his team-mates with unpredictable behavior, doesn’t mean they can be trusted in the future.

Shaw’s still not talking. Sounds like he’s got a lot to hide and doesn’t care much about being trusted right now. I’m sure he’ll care more when it suits him.

          • UCLA Bleauz

Then keep him off the team, since he’ll continue to be a distraction, IMO……..

          • Jack B

I hate to say it, but I agree. I didn’t feel this way when the story first broke. I was in the “it’s just a stupid lie” camp. Things have gotten much bigger since, with lawyers and all. Sad for Shaw. But he brought it all on himself. Some people just can’t stand success.

          • UCLA Bleauz

            ditto…..and now this Anthony Brown nonsense….what a mess….

          • Jack B

Brown doesn’t bother me. The racist thing is so ridiculous it’s like a Troll denying he NEEDS the validation of USC people.

    • WEB_Dupree

If the criminal investigation (to the extent that there even is one) doesn’t lead to anything, I don’t see why he can’t come back at some point. All he’s done right now — that we know of — is tell an incredibly dopey lie. Yes, it embarrassed the team, but college (and pro) players have been forgiven for worse.

  • STILL does not know???

El Siete looks like a complete FOOL!!!

what about the fight, wolfman?? i heard the other players went after Sir Lie Alot???

    • WEB_Dupree

It is hard to believe that Sark doesn’t know. If he truly doesn’t know, people must be under orders not to tell him. Which is understandable, I suppose.

Unlike some folks who confuse college football and religion, I follow USC football primarily for fun and entertainment. In that regard, this bizarre episode has a bit of a silver lining for me, embarrassing as it is. Even so, at this point, this scandal is nowhere near as gloriously weird as the Manti Teo story, which transcended mere athletics scandals.

      • UCLA Bleauz

The team has been awfully quiet this week…The players must be on “lockdown” and instructed to avoid posting ANYTHING on social media…with the recent exception of Anthony Brown……

      • not as weird, but far more appalling!! almost every news anchor lets out an “ugh” when they read this story in their broadcast…..and now the “racist slave master” story emerges….

Did Sark build his new house on a Menehune
        Burial ground????

        • WEB_Dupree

          On a what?

        • Aero93

Both Barkley and Shaw went to Haiti. Haitian vodou spell more likely.

          • UCLA Bleauz

So C. Bucket is a Haiter?…..I knew it!!!!!

  • Jack B

    When it rains it pours.

Not only does USC have to own, and constantly tolerate, Troll lover Sweatshirt Scottie, but now we have to deal with Josh “The Jumper” Shaw, also known for the fib of the century as of 2014.

  • Medneggler

Anyone see Anthony Brown’s post on instagram? What’s the scoop Wolf? Oh, nevermind.

  • UCLA Bleauz

    Here’s some more troll food:

“Redshirt senior running back Anthony Brown has quit the football team. Brown recently switched from corner to RB.”

“Sark said was “shocked” that Anthony Brown accused him of being a racist.”

    • WEB_Dupree

Well, it would explain our stable of white running backs.

      • UCLA Bleauz

Wasn’t our last white RB Sunny Byrd?

        • WEB_Dupree

          There was LenDale White!

        • Saul Goodman

No, it was that UCLA homer Petros Papadakis

    • UCLA owns LA Football

Listen bleauz, Sarks retreat on Josh Shaw playing time is profound.

Sark is saying it’s ok for a player to lie Sark about anything, if said player starts for or is valuable to SUCCs football team.

That’s saying, the inmates can run the asylum, so long as SUCC’s Football program is victorious.

  • timtrojan

Know Brown quits team and Sark is a racist. Scotty and the Trolls Christmas has come early.

    • UCLA Bleauz

Sark should hire Shaw’s lawyer and sue Brown for slander and defamation of character…….

      • drakejr

Truth is a complete defense to slander.

        • UCLA Bleauz

          Where’s the PROOF?

          • brilliant!!! more lawyers to address trOXans CHARACTER ISSUES!!!!

            Call Nigel!!!

          • UCLA owns LA Football

Is there still a FB game at Mausoleum Sat?

  • Ray Reyes

Scotty must be drooling over this Shaw story. His pants must be soaking in …………. whatever……………..

  • SW is a Hack

Sark said ‘SC didn’t have a right to ask Shaw how he really got injured. An amazing statement. Not only is Scotty not scooping any of this, he is missing the meat. On to the next ShoeGate…

    • UCLA Bleauz

Where did you dig up that nugget?

      • SW is a Hack

710 am cut live to Sark giving comments this morning.

    • UCLA owns LA Football

Sarks said: “Get well soon Josh, the team really needs you. Oh and I’m very sorry I didn’t ignore those odd calls I got calling your Heroic rescue bogus. From now on Josh, I will never again question any explanation you feed me.”

  • Hey Siete, you REALLY know how to RUN a team!!!! into the GROUND, that is!!!!

lets re-cap: Siete throws his own players under the bus question their desire and manhood in the PRESS (cardinal sin)

players constantly fighting with each other.

players wanting to quit the team (cravens) probably wont last season.

Chubby players keep gaining, push past wolfman at Five Guys (Mama, Cravens)

Sweaty Siete looks like a dead coach walking in softball interview with “Easy Jim” Hill…..wolfman mocks him before millions on Live TV

and Siete was just WARMING UP!!!!

NOW we have the Shaw’s disrespectful betrayal…..where Siete STILL doesn’t know what happened and Shaw blows him off!!

AND now we find Siete is treating black players like SLAVES!!!

and the season hasn’t STARTED YET???

somebody PUNCH me!!! i mean PINCH me!!!

    • WEB_Dupree

To be fair, the NCAA treats ALL players like slaves.
