USC tight end Randall Telfer labeled former tailback Anthony Brown’s charges that Coach Steve Sarkisian is racist as “absurd” Saturday night after the Trojans routed Fresno State.
“It’s a little disheartening Anthony reacted like that,” Telfer said. “I think it’s absurd and outlandish. I think he was just frustrated with his situation.”
I am sure that is part of the equation, but another part could be that because the term “racist” had been thrown around all month all over the country may have had something to do with the thought and idea being planted in Mr. Brown’s head, and then he hotheadedly threw the word out there to try to punish Sark.
Unfortunately, the one who will be hurt by this will be the kid.
We KNOW Josh Shaw was “absurd and outlandish”; what we don’t know, did Mr. Brown tell the truth!
We don’t know because Sark/SUCC declares Brown, a 5th or 6th string TB is just mad because he’s not good enough to crack SUCC’s TB rotation. So Brown’s claim deserve no investigation?
Wasn’t it just last week that Sark/SUCC proclaimed Josh Shaw an outstanding SUCC HERO.

Knowing that the “mighty” Cavaliers finished at an “Amazing” [2 – 10] record last year should’ve brought “fear” to any opponents, especially the “mighty” B-Ruins !!
Just “thinking” about how an invincible UcLa team handled a Virginia team that when’t [0 – 8] in ACC Conference play cannot be underscored, especially like “Hundley” and the ferocious B-Ruin “offense”, which couldn’t score ?
Oh man “great” weeks lie ahead for UcLa, I can’t wait for their next “brilliant, exciting and powerhouse” game !!!
I’d take the B-Ruins (Kings of L.A.) by “40” points (at least) over behemoth Eastern Minneapolis A&E State…
Only UcLa could cover that score ?

5:34 PM PT — Brown says his issues with Coach Sarkisian hit a breaking point during a meeting with the coach on Tuesday.
Brown says he walked into Sark’s office to talk about where he stood with the team (since he’s been injured) and was met with hostility.
“When I walked in the room he said, ‘You have the f**king guts to walk in here — coward.”
Brown continues, “The way he was talking to me … it was like a slave master talking to his slave.”
According to Brown, Sarkisian never used the N-word or any other racial slur … but feels the overall “tone” was racist.
Eventually, Brown says, “He told me to get the f**k out of his office.”
We reached out to Sarkisian and USC for comment — so far, no word back.

Brown sounds like a child that didn’t like being called out by a teacher for not doing their work. Or a spoiled brat… Coach is making me work hard.
I hope everyone follows Sark’s lead here. AB has done something he must now regret. He’s a couple classes away from his degree. If Sark says there’s still a way back home for AB we should honor that.
Not true, Ugly Bucket, the word I used was “disproportionate.” Whites make up the majority in America and they constitute “most” of the racists. Of course, that statement should be tempered with the concept that with each individual it is a matter of degree
And it is kind of hypocritical of you when you are the only one on the blog guilty of ageism, another discriminatory tendency.
Finally, Sark vs Brown is He said-He said. Unlike with Shaw there
are no other witnesses or evidence, hence we will never have objective findings, so think and write what you want because it cannot be proved or disproved.
Besides, you and Owns and other SUCLA honks will jump on the anti-SC bandwagon whether it makes sense or not. Thus, most of us usually don’t even read your comments.
Jersey John, first tell me why Mr. Brown accusation is consider bogus just because Sark says so?
Then tell me why Sark was justified believing Shaw HERO story, even though Shaw was lying like a rug right in Sark’s puffy, sweaty face.
Why is Sark’s credibility believable with the Brown accusation when compared with Shaw’s bogus “rescue Yarn.” that Sark swallowed hook, line and sinker and couldn’t stop media promoting?
Are the players coming to Brown’s defense or Sark’s? I’ve only seen support for Sark. Brown sounds like another Dillon Baxter with a mouth.
