Cody Kessler Question

How did Cody Kessler get staph infection? It is difficult to get rid of once it becomes present in a locker room. But did he get at USC or somewhere else? Last year, safety Gerald Bowman got staph infection in his arm, which may or may not be a coincidence.

  1. Mr. Wolf: maybe my good friend Cody picked up staph from the overly large football staff at USC. Over at UCLA we cut down on the size of the staff to avoid these situations.

  2. “Which may or may not be a coincidence.”

I see they teach how to write killer closers at SCCC J School. It’s amazing how many posts on this blog end with a “who knows” type statement. Which to me seems a bit antithetical to being a reporter.

Not sure what’s worse, inventing a reader email in order to push your own attempt at cynical humor or the shoddy reporting skills. Either way, another example of the poor education a SCCC graduate gets and why I still prefer Wang.

  3. He got it from the alum who paid $450 to use the locker room toilet before the team went on the field…

  4. UCLA “trolls” are like “roaches”, they breed/prey on “other” things that have nothing to do with them ?

    Pathetic existence…

    • Takes one to know one. The king Trollgan Nobs spends all day in the UCLA blog. You should find that clown and talk to him about preying on “other” things. Cry on…

      • There is a UCLA blog? What do you talk about? How many backstrokes it takes to get across your basketball court?

  5. Maybe had something to do with one of those Hot Box Burritos?…or more likely from being in contact with that sleezebag….”The Fat Booster”

  6. Scott, the staph bacteria that I believe you are talking about is basically everywhere. If its MRSA, its become medically resistant to antibiotics; that why once it sets in its hard to get rid of the infection. There is no coincidence to Gerald Bowman last year.
This means that every time trolls like Thai, Bucket, etc take antibiotics for a sniffle, it helps all bacteria out there become more resistant to the antibiotics. Is this why they are so hard to get rid of from this blog? hmmm……

    • You can easily get an infection from an ingrown toe nail. Staphylococcus is the usual bacteria that’s easily treated unless it’s Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus.
