Celebration On The Farm

JUJU.STANFORD

USC enjoyed a big celebration after it defeated Stanford. But it raises a question? Should USC be that happy to beat Stanford? Yes, Stanford won five of the past eight games but shouldn’t USC expect to beat Stanford? And Oregon? And UCLA?

Now it seems as if the Trojans are the team thrilled to beat its rivals.

      • Southern Cal is always relevant just like the Raiders in the NFL! In the delusional minds of the fans!

        Delusion On!

        • little gutties aren’t even top 10 with their best group of idiots since last century. “It’s so haaarrrdddd,” says Mora. “It’s reaalllly haaarrrdd to beat any team!!!” You can say that again Jimbo.

Just listen to the Bridesmaid U fans boooing you in the RB, already. Maybe if you can find another drunken jaywalker to walk the plank again, you can get motivated, huh?

      • Trick question. They have only been relevant 1 year and that was long before the troll was born.

    • The players in the photo are all true freshmen…they haven’t ever been there before. Your entire 2014 roster has never been there before vs. Stanford.

      • It could have been a picture of the USC Family from the AD to the fans who have endured the sanctions. Who had to supress their love for the game and USCs tradition in recent years. The kids were hungry i could sense if from my seat in the endzone. They wanted it more than the Cardinal.

For Scott to even raise such a question give his credibility a hit.

      • Remember the dark days, late 90’s, before Pete was hired? Now try imagining your favorite team was always like that, year after year. That might drive anyone to lurk on a rivals blog. Try to remember they are damaged, and we should try and , F THAT. They’re pos trolls.

  1. well, you’re not talking about the Trojan teams of the early 80s with Marcus Allen, you’re talking about a team that has become the joke of college football trying to make heroes out of Domestic Violence thugs, and a coach being called a racist by one of his players, and an A.D. that got a text message from his head coach to go on the field and get into the refs’ grill…not to mention a school that fired their previous coach at the LAX parking lot, and prior to that caught deflating footballs…so yeah, they should be celebrating like clowns, because according to ESPN, usc is a Clown College.
    #clowncollege
    #NUFFSAID!!!

  2. How dare a bunch of college student-athletes celebrate a win over a ranked team on the road????!!!!

So this is the new story? USC’s win wasn’t that great because they should expect to win every game.

    Just. Unbelievable.

    • the players we have committed to to program knowing the sanctions. I’m sure they weren’t prepared for the dark side of Lane Kiffin so now that the gates of hell have opened, they are having some fun, stuff like this happens. It’s called being a well adjusted human being…. just sayin

    • Last year we all ran on the field after we beat Stanford a home so this victory on the road deserved a similar celebration.

      • You were on the field? I wasn’t. I sit too high up.

It was mostly students on the field. They were just happy to cleansed of the stench of Kiffin.

  3. What is your story Troll?
Damn, you’re so pathetic. Here’s a thought Little Wolfie — we won the freaking game against a higher ranked team. Now act like a real beat writer for once — you won’t selling out dude.

  4. Raises a question by WHOM?…….by a dolt like Scottie who hates celebrations of any kind, especially since his family has forgotten about his birthday since the 3rd grade……You can expect to beat a team and STILL celebrate, WULF……

  5. another sad day for Trogans. The one publication that listed them up to UCLA’s bar academically, US News, just dropped them. So no only do students choose UCLA over USC, but now EVERY ranking in the world does again too. #clowncollege

  6. SHHHHH! You guys hear that sound? That’s the sucking sound of UCLA returning to it’s rightful place – the bottom.

    • only an ignorant delusional moron would say that, you’ll be lucky to score a TD this year against UCLA. Utah crushed Fresno State, they put up more points against them than U Stupid Clowns.

      • Hey Big Annus,

Our players were intercepting passes and immed dropping to the ground so they wouldn’t score.

Congrats on finally beating crappy Memphis. Mora says it’s SOOOOO hard, hard, hard to beat anyone in college football! (I thought he was going to cry at this point.) It’s just too hard for average people to understand how HHAARDDD Jim’s job is.

        #littleguttiesdroppingfast

      • Thanks for confirming my point with this post.

The next thing you learn about football will be your first.

          • WOW.. someones butt hurt! Come to a USC Blog to get defensive about someone talking bad about SUCLA!
GO SEE WANG SO YOUR FEELINGS CAN STAY INTACT!

          • Your reply makes no sense. The comment that the next thing you learn about football will be your first was so good you became the deer in the headlights. We had more fans at Stanford than you had at the Rose Bowl. Travel well do you?

          • we had a war 72,000 paid attendance on Saturday and over 80,000 the house dumbass get your facts straight

      • lmao…struggling against virginia and memphis and you think usc can’t put up points? what an idiot you are.

        • so says the fan of the “clown college” trying to make heroes women beating thugs-beating thugs…ADs fighting with the referees on the sidelines on national television…players quitting from the team because their coach is a racist…deflating footballs…. firing their coaches at the airport parking lot. Yup, #clowncollege

    • Stanford dominated you but shot itself in the foot and didn’t score! Stanford should have walked away with at least a 38-13 win! If you want to play slow, go to Southern Cal in football and basketball!

      • Hmm. So you’d rather lose three times to Stanford in a calendar year rather than beat them ugly?

Try another sport where style points count. You’d make a great figure skating troll.

        • I love all these “You didn’t win, Stanford handed the game to you” comments……in the legendary word of Bucket, “WAAAHHHH!!!!”….and by UCLA Groans, “Excuses, excuses, excuses…”……deal with it, folks…. that’s all part of football….

  7. Scott best to remember Joe MacDonnell – for years he mocked, ridiculed and joked about so many others in sports that when his contract was up 10 years ago so was he – he’d blown every bridge there was.

Question to you Scott – now that Jill Painter is off to FS West are you finally going to do more than USC as Bonsignore does or just sit there in your own bile?

  8. USC was very much at the top of the Pac when the sanctions hit– and they had their intended effect. Their is no shame in celebrating the victories on our way back to the top.

    • easy to be at the top when you pay top dollar to your players, how many crystal balls do yo in your trophy caset?

      • You alone (on this blog) prove there are decent Bruins fans. In posts to you I will call that team by their proper name to show you respect; you’ve earned it.

        • Thank you, sir. As a native Angeleno, have family on both sides of this rivalry. My father went to SC out of Glendale HS in ’44, made the JV BB team, but then was promptly transferred to UCLA for Naval Officers Training. After the war, he returned to UCLA and tried out for John Wooden’s first basketball team (’48), turned his ankle, and instead became a varsity swimmer. My wife is the only Bruin in a long line of Trojan alums. That’s what makes this rivarly so awesome, and the fact that one side always has to eat crow on Turkey Day.

          • We don’t really have to wait for Turkey Day to know that the little gutties have been a huge disappointment this season. Your team looks like crap. If you don’t fix it fast, I’m afraid it’s a terminal condition. We shall see. Regardless of what Mora says, it shouldn’t be that hard to handle limpwrists like Virginia and Memphis. I know you can take this simple, obvious observation better than the rest of the swarming Trolls around here.

  9. Football players happy about winning a game. There should be a rule against this sort of thing.

  10. Yes Wolf. Give in to your hate. Let it flow through you. Come over to the dark side where you can rule the troll galaxy forever.

  11. USC probably had more people in the stands than Stanford did. It’s always a big deal to beat the Indians, as it was in the old days when McKay said he’d like to beat them by 2,000 points. Great game last Saturday, especially the winning result!

Stanford will just kill the little gutties, as usual, in Nov. Will the little gutties be sad that they’ve lost 7 in a row. Shouldn’t Bridesmaid U expect to beat Stanford every year?

    • There were actually more USC fans in the stands at Stanford than there were UCLA fans in the stands at the Rose Bowl last Saturday Night. The USC fans in stands at Stanford gave huge support and big boost to our players and the UCLA fans in the stands at the Rose Bowl booed their players. The Westwood folks are doing a “fall apart” (again).

      • 70K attendance in the Rose Bowl > 50K total seating at Stanford Stadium.

Allegations of booing = false (I was there).

  12. Huh? Stanford is the 2 time defending PAC 12 Champ. They had the longest home win streak in Div 1 college football. This was a major premium road win.

Come on Scott stop looking for the negative and the controversy in everything. You are searching for straws. I know its midweek and the next real controversy has not come accross your desk as yet.

Just chill out and enjoy a quality win for the 1st time as you wrote since 1973 that USC has beat Stanford when they were both ranked.

A number of folks say this was one of the most tensed and exciting games in USC lore. A USC classic although low scoring. I could feel the excitment, anticipation, and hunger amongst the USC faithful from the sidelines to the upper rows of the top deck. It was a great moment in my 50 yrs of attending USC Trojan Football games.

I hope that answers your question.

    Fight On
    TL

  13. It was a close game against a good team and they came out ahead. That’s cause for celebration Wolfie.

      • One is a prediction and the other was a fact, he even went down the list of “Clown” like behavior, maybe I shouldn’t bring up facts we know the rah rahs aren’t use to that.. .

        “Clown U” – ESPN

      • Yup…same guys who suggested Goat Boy was the BEST COACH IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL! and yup….same guys who kiss $c rear end all season long…
        Fit Un U Stupid Clowns!

  14. You are missing Wolf’s point. He is asking if USC enjoying a big celebration after it defeated Stanford raises a question. Hence, the first question mark. Of course he knows it does not, and expects you will stop reading the post at that point.

  15. A better couple of questions.
    1. Should Scotty have a job?
    2. What class at UCLA teaches these trolls to live a life of indignity to hang all day on USC board?

    • Scottie should have a job….. just not a job running a blog for one of the top football teams in the country…..Wyoming would better suit his skill set, at this stage of his career….

  16. Gee, coming from the reporter that predicted Stanford would win by 3 in Daily News column. I wish Jack Wang would be the SC beat writer. That guy is great and doesn’t have an axe to grind hourly.

  17. Gee, coming from the reporter that predicted Stanford would win by 3 in Daily News column. I wish Jack Wang would be the SC beat writer. That guy is great and doesn’t have an axe to grind hourly.

  18. UCLA celebrated the 13-9 victory, as USC was poised to move on to the national championship game (if my memory serves me). Nothing wrong with good old-fashioned joy and jubilation when you beat a great opponent.

  19. You need to move on! You’re a total embarrassment to this blog, and why we have to continue to deal with you is beyond pathetic. The National Enquirer is hiring, hint hint

  20. Seriously? Are you questioning kids celebrating a win on the road against a ranked opponent? I hate SC and think this line of reasoning is horrible. You should seriously quit, Wolf. Life has become too miserable on this beat.

  21. Under probation and sanctions USC won 10 game 2 times and finished 5th in the final regular season 2011 AP football poll (10-2). When is the last time useless college of lazy a-holes finished 5th in ANY football poll…Crickets
