USC Morning Buzz: Boston College Game Day Is Here

BOSTON.HOTELThe clouds are out at USC’s hotel outside Boston as the Trojans prepare for Boston College. Here’s my preview of the game.

“The road test does provide a way to figure out if USC is more like the freewheeling team that demolished Fresno State or the struggling team that was more than fortunate to beat Stanford.

After unleashing freshmen like Juju Smith in the opener, USC went into a shell with junior Nelson Agholor the only receiving option and the tight ends non-existent.”

  1. I have to agree. It was strange that it was all Agholor in the passing game. Sark might have been a bit nervous.

  2. Sark says they can play whatever type of game is necessary so it shows the versatility they have. Individual performances are not what they are looking for, it is the team result.

  3. “More than fortunate” would be the label attached to USC fans if Wolfie was replaced with someone who really has Inside USC info.

  4. Pat Haden sent a contribution to LACH for autism research matching his fine. Ryan Abraham has an article on uscfootballDOTcom with a link to match Pat. Trojans helping Trojans. The Trojan family is about half way to it’s goal. FIGHT ON!

    • He should have sent the donation to “Liar’s Anonymous” in the name of Shaw…(or Goat Boy).
      fit Un Clown School!

  5. Wolf are you kidding how do you write this stuff. Fresno had no defense – SC’s offense rolls effortlessly and wide open. Stanford has a tough defense – SC plays a smash mouth ball control game, forcing Stanford mistakes. Looks like an SC team that has talented players and coaches that can adapt to the situation and rise above adversity. You may have to start praising this team because there is not much to criticize.

    • We should all realize Scottie doesn’t know squat about football and will never be able to understand the intricacies of football strategy.

    • Fresno State was obliterated by Utah, and Stanford defeated themselves, which is why the Return to Condescension here was premature.

On the other side of town, Virginia had a solid win today, and UCLA’s Offensive Line finally put together a solid half.

The season is still young. It’s too soon to either celebrate or despair.

  6. This morning I’ve been watching College Game Day for the first time this season. Corso has really aged. Sometimes his train of thought just seems to trail off. He was always the wacky one in that group, but now he’s looking confused more and more. Sad to see.

  7. Please stay at UCLA Coach Mora, if you will stay I’ll ask that hot chick, Sally, to fly your folks to UCLA games on her plane.

  8. I think you need a career change, seriously. Where is all the “inside info”?………..I forgot, no one around the campus likes you so they close the door on you, pathetic

  9. “USC coach Steve Sarkisian shut down the play book because he was worried about being steamrolled by Stanford.”

The above quote from the wolfman has be one of the most ridiculous ever. It’s truly sad that we are stuck with this idiot

    • Not really. …you can’t evaluate teams that way. …so ECU are better than Ohio State because they beat VA Tech? ….This is why they wait until October for the real rankings to be released. …glad you feel better about your team though. …

      • Good point–goes both ways though. SC beat a bumbling Stanford team that killed themselves, and an atrocious Fresno St team.

        • No doubt that it goes both ways. ….rankings this early in the season tend create unrealistic expectations, to which some teams can succumb….

          • I’m not on the team.

Just realize that when your obsession is with USC you wind up making UCLA look worse. If they beat Stanford, they just beat a bad team at home. Lose, and UCLA looks utterly hapless since Stanford is no good.

Such are the challenges of trolling.
