Team is another year or two away. Needs Sark’s new offense and Wilcox communication to both settle in. Both team & coaching staff need to work on gametime adjustments. Need faster-slimmer linebackers to cover running QBs & RBs as well as cover tight ends. Isn’t going to happen overnight!
Not to mention having 85 kids on scholarship instead of the present 55 or so.
Oh, oh, the SUCLA vermin call that complainin’ and spalin’, but them’s the facts Jack.
And we lost another player this week (Blackwell). The number of scholarship players USC suits up for a game is getting ridiculous.
(see my previous comments about recruiting Special Admits & Character Issues….This year alone…Blackwell, Shaw, Cravens, Fitzpatrick, Brown, ….I’m pretty sure I’ve missed a player or two…Does the attempt of bringing back Pommee count?)
And you wonder why it’s called a CLOWN SCHOOL?
fit Un!

Without a solid offensive line, success is impossible.
Wow. We really needed all this worthless info Wolfie. News for you. USC is not gonna win the national title this season.
Thanks for the update Scott – hope springs eternal especially as the tougher games for all the current leaders loom ahead.
Typical SUCC strategy: play a cupcake schedule, wait for the better teams to eliminate themselves, and then SUCC sneaks in on its weak schedule and clown reputation.

Same old story: UCLA with better odds to end up in NCG, better odds to land a Heisman candidate, and a higher ranking. Yawn.
So let’s wait till the end of the season and see how UCLA fails to meet those expectations.
Those are odds and rankings, not expectations, and they’re comparative; they all depend not only on Bruin success but Trojan failure.
So far, so good, but it’s a long season.
You’ll choke like the little gutties always have since ’54. You can’t even win simple conference championships anymore chump.

“Same old story?” What happened to you; did a fairy prince suddenly kiss you out of a 50 year slumber
The last two years, anyway.
…make that 60 year slumber.
Golly Miss Molly, a couple more byes and SC will be right in the hunt for a Final-4 berth
Ya’ know the ‘playahs’ have to make sure that one of there good ‘ole boys (SEC) is in the ‘hunt’…after all as Lee Marvin told ‘Maggot’ (aka Telly Savalas) in “The Dirty Dozen”
“Besides, us southern boys got’s ta’ stick togetha’ now don’t we?”
Rest assured bel-air tech won’t be there – Mora is looking to ‘book’ especially if this year’s run goes south…you know that classic from way back in 1959…’Running Bear’.” except in this 2014 version the white bread west side limousine liberals (aka white dove) book for a ‘tete a tete’ at Hanoi Jane’s…watch Mora run… run Jimmah…run…
Only a playoff of (at least) conference champs can determine an actual national champion; opinion should play no part in who has a shot at the title.
(And I hope you’re wrong about Mora.)
