During the summer I mentioned that San Clemente quarterback Sam Darnold’s highlight film seemed to show more plays of him running than passing. Last night, Darnold (a USC commit) completed 20 of 27 passes for 295 yards and three touchdowns and also rushed for 63 yards and scored a TD in a 47-24 victory over Newport Harbor.

Boston College in real danger of going down to Colorado State at home… It makes Southern Cal’s defeat look real bad!
Only one Pac 12 team should be in the top 25, the rest are all mediocre. Cal is struggling with Colorado and the Indians barely beat the Huskies.
I’d still say, Oregon, UCLA and Stanford still belongs in the Top 25.
