Steve Sarkisian said that tailback Tre Madden’s injury might cause Madden to redshirt this season. The only problem is Madden redshirted in 2012 because of a knee injury. Maybe Sarkisian referred to a possible sixth year of eligibility for Madden, which he could apply for after the 2015 season.
The real issue is that Madden’s suffered a setback in his recovery from turf toe and is not going to play against Arizona.
They will need a heck of a lot more than just Madden to beat AZ……
Just goes to show how an elite athlete needs all his “parts” in working order.
I mean, you would think a bad toe is not a big deal, but try walking on one, let alone running into a beehive of college defenders.
Madden is a stud but he is prone to injury…hope he gets better
My same thoughts. We need a back who can break more tackles and Madden was just the guy.
