Meanwhile, In Reggie Bush World

bush-pushThe famous Bush Push was almost exactly nine years ago (Oct. 15, 2005) and last Reggie Bush weighed in on the crucial offensive pass interference call that denied Notre Dame a touchdown to beat Florida State.

“Wow not sure about the call,” Bush tweeted. “Hate to see a game decided on that.”

  1. Here’s the point that everybody in Dome-land, and now Mr . Bush (no surprise here) are missing – IF Notre Dame had pointed out the same obviously illegal, but seldomly called foul earlier in the game – SC would have most likely been called fot it. BUT, here’s the kicker – THEY DIDN’T

Bush is about as smart as Lendale White – great players at one time, but terrible public figures.

    • here is what you are missing. First, they called the penalty on procise during the game. Pictures show he was being held from the snap until the end of the play (with his arms down). So, thats defensive holding. Second, they changed the call today (or last night, who knows) on Fuller. Fuller was jammed at the beginning and if you watch the play on repeat (theres a gif) you can see he didnt hold or impact Darby at all. no penalty. But, there was some great acting. Which brings me to Three. PJ Williams ripped his helmet off in anger WHILE ON the field! That is a personal foul, which would have offset the horrible PI anyways and it would have been fourth and goal from the 3 again. I think most ND fans would live with that outcome. But to suggest it was some great call, when they not only changed the player called for the infraction later, but missed a glaring personal foul call at the same time, is a bit ludicrous. But, as Kelly said, to beat the champs you have to take it out of the refs hands..much like a fighter cant leave a title fight to the judges. Great game, and I hope ND gets a rematch in the playoffs IF they run the table.

      • Actually, to beat the champs, you must play by the Rules, Dome-boy!

Now, get back to your NeuterLame webpage – we don’t give a shillelagh about the shamrocks or the teepee builders around here – now git!

        • lol make me “git”. i wish you luck cupcake ..dont you have a rapist to defend, or a ref to pay off?

          • Hmm let me guess, you weigh over 300 pounds and your face is stuffed with a Twinkie? Ya figured, you are immobile and impossible to remove from your current keyboard position – let me put it to you this way, nobody, and mean NOBODY gives a rat’s tail about your analysis of the ND FSU game around here – the only reason I gave you the time of day is because you seemed lost – well, now that I know who you are, and that you really don’t know what you are talking about, I’m going to ask you to call it – heads or tails? What’s it going to be, Friendo?

          • LMFAO nope, i lift quite often and train in martial arts..but thanks for assuming and making an ace out of yourself skippy .

      • Even “mike the dim-witted had his golden dome rung one too many times golick” admitted the call was correct on ND, just called it on the wrong guy. And jeez, don’t they have a blog in that south bend wasteland?

        • well, several replays and still pics clearly show 1. Procise was held from the snap while his arms were down. 2. Fuller DID NOT initiate the contact, Darby did while trying to cut him off from a slant route (one he has scored on this year i think 4 times). So, he did not impede Darby because Darby moved inside on his own! 3. The ref was already pulling the flag out before Fuller even touched Darby. This is likely because Jimbo and FSU complained about the earlier no call (which admittedly ND got away with possibly), so the ref anticipated making the call. HOWEVER, the two refs closest to the play called it a clean play! the back judge, the one FURTHEST from the play threw the flag, as I said likely in anticipation of a prejudged penalty. Point being, seems the ref didnt want to be the most hated guy in Florida, and probably didnt want to have to explain to the ACC why he didnt make a call that lost the conference their best chance at the playoff. AKA homer call, aka home cookin, aka screwed the pooch.

        • ps lets be real..FSU fans would be crying from now until next Christmas about how they “got robbed” for one reason or another had the TD stood.

  2. Wolf, you look like you haven’t aged a day since that pic was taken.

Everyone is freaking out, but you look as cool and composed as a riverboat gambler.
