Andy Enfield At Pac-12 Media Day

USC coach Andy Enfield was asked today what the difference is from last season: “We have more athleticism, better shooting. We have an elite freshman point guard we recruited. We’ll be able to do more things this  year. But it is an adjustment year to year. Hopefully we’ll make the right ones.”

    • radioman3 = ignorant SUCCster, 2013 -14 SUCC Men’s Basketball Pac – 12 record: 2 wins, 16 losses; or in other words dead stinking last.

If SUCC schedules more Non-conf. Div. 3, Jr. College and AAU games your overall record might improve. LOL.

  1. We shall see–l thought after Galen was built things would change. Perhaps now with a young motivated coach.

  2. gutties picked to finish 4th! wheres rah rah slowwww p? #balldontlie

  3. could it be possible the IQ of westwood high grads is getting even lower?? “SUCC + winning = uh..duh…oxymorons!” hahaha…..they don’t let him near sharp objects

anyway, Enfield can hit the road as far as I am concerned. The team he put on the floor last year was un disciplined, out of shape , did nothing but shoot from the perimeter and slowly fell apart as the game went on.
total embarassment to USC basketball. I cannot see how in 1 year this mess got turned around. any coach responsible for what I saw last year needs to be shown the door.

  4. Interesting that insidesical’dot’com/ucla’s reporter Jack Wang wrote the lead article in today’s LA Daily News report on USC basketball rather than Scott Wolf –

question – is this a trade off Scott or is it your obsession with issues specific to the football program i.e. unlike Gary Klein who reports per the football field after noting issues with the athletic dept.? Your (Wolf) attachment to ‘drama’ now flows into your lack of interest in basketball unless of course Coach Enfield gives you a non-playing issue.

  5. I’m looking for vast improvement from this Trojan Basketball Team, and not just in the win loss department. Because Andy Enfield was pretty much a nobody when Pat Haden hired him, and I’m sure he did so because Enfield happened to be the flavor of the month at the time. But what has Enfied ever done that we can look forward to ? and please don’t mention that Cinderella run that he had with that School in Florida . The good thing is that he has an up and coming Coach on his staff by the name of Tony Bland, who was eventually going to get that San Diego State Job once Steve Fisher retired. So if Enfield can’t cut it, then Haden can take a good look at him.
