The Gooold Sheet

The venerable betting publication, the Gold Sheet, picks Utah to defeat USC, 26-23.

“The Trojan defense, mesmerized by BC QB Murphy, will certainly see some of the same option schemes from the Utes’ 6-1 Kendal Thompson, with Utah HC Whittingham also able to call on 6-7 jr. rocket launcher Travis Wilson.”

  1. Hey wolf, how much is Bruce paying you to post this nonsense?

(the guy hits less than 50% of his picks, go figure)

  2. He bet Kryptonite? Give me the tickets.

    But, Sonny, we’re winning.

We can’t win. The Mush, Scott Wolf, bet Kryptonite.

      • USC is going to walk into Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, close the door behind them and lock it shut, look at the Utes and say, “Now yous can’t leave.”

After the Trojans beat down the Utes for 4 straight quarters, Sark will say to Whittingham, “Look At Me…I’m The One Who Did This To You…Remember Me”

  3. I say Buck keeps the Ute defense honest, and although Kessler is sacked thrice he also throws 3 td passes, and SC gets 31 points.

The Utes have their moments on offense, but it is not enough

    31-24 SC

  4. Wolf keep it coming. We really need to have our eyes opened here at SC. We think we are soooo great but really we are the joke of the nation. This is why we are now known as clown college U.

  5. Blowout by Troy – UT has barely defeated all of their Pac-12 opponents. Their best victory was over ucla – the rest are average opponents (including MI). Based on Kessler’s performance last week – the receivers are pumped and ready to score and that gives the running game traction.

    • And I will deactivate my account from this blog if our developing OL allows 10 sacks in this game….

      • I’m waiting to see how ucla does tomorrow against CO in Boulder – CO big underdogs and have nothing to lose in going all out – if any of you listened to Mora Tuesday afternoon his is not a voice of reason nor of confidence.

          • He is very very thin skinned – no sense of humor or honest self-deprecation. Any counter to ‘all is well’ is met with umbrage and contempt. Mora is very fortunate that 570 AM is his home radio because you can sense Papadakis is champing at the bit to unload but can’t….

          • “thin skinned-no sense of humor or honest self deprecation”…you just described GOATBOY to the “T”….Mora and GOATBOY couldn’t be more different…but…booze will often make things hazy.
            fit Un!

          • Classy repartee Cigar Butt. Mommy and Daddy must be proud they wasted THEIR money on your 3rd rate SUCC education.

    • Otis, SUCC is a very average opponent. Two easy wins, and two luck out wins (Az. and Stanford). SUCC is the team that should worry about a possible “blowout loss.”

  6. With Justin Wilcox calling the defense nothing will surprise me, because Utah just happens to have one of those coaching staffs that can out coach Steve Sarkisian and his. So let’s hope the Trojans play up to their talent level, because that’s the only advantage they have..

    • Which brings up an interesting question…..who was the last team the Sark and his staff “out coached”?

      • I don’t know, but fortunately for USC, they will always have the recruiting advantage of most of the Schools in the Pac 12. Because I can think of at least 6 coaches in our conference that can out coach Steve Sarkisian and his Staff.
