Bowl analyst Jerry Palm projects USC will play Penn State in the Holiday Bowl. I guess USC fans would get to see James Franklin coach in person, at least.

  4. Don’t tease me Wolf. Would love for the Trojans to come down San Diego way. SC v Penn St, two schools beaten down and on the way back, would be a great game. Beats going to El Paso!

            Los Angeles is a UCLA and Laker’s town. There are Jr. College and H. S. BB programs that are better, and get more press than SUCC. Hey SUCC BB went 2 – 16 last year in the P-12. Recruits who play for SUCC just want to lose.

  7. The Holiday Bowl takes 5 or 6 loss teams ( Wazzu or Cal play any D they beat fat Sucks soft team ) … ucla and ND are licking their chops to beat this poorly coached soft choking SC team.

    Would love to meet Penn State in a bowl game. Maybe by then Sark will have some of USC’s problems figured out.

    Then again, maybe we’ll still be losing heartbreakers because we don’t have the killer instinct, our players are confused, too tired, or we’re not ready for the always reliable pick play.

          • Uh, USC has won 11 football titles, and uh, the only one that was apparently returned was the BCS, which no longer exists. USC was still crowned by AP that year.

            If you know other info. on the 11, then you should be a USC historian.

            USC has tons and tons of football history, unlike UGLY whose football history is like a unicorn or pegasus (nonexistent).

          • Other than SMU, USC is the most penalized football program of all time. Since 1953 the year the ncaa began to sanction schools, the trojans have spent 25% of their existence on probation.           • I think it’s safe to say that no one is proud of being on sanctions….And only a BIGGER fool/jackass would be naive enough to think that other schools should not have deserved just as severe sanctions, except that they were better at hiding their transgressions, or they were more compliant with the NCAA during their investigations, unlike Mike Garrett…….

  14. These projections halfway through the season are ludicrous. A few upsets here or there changes every thing. For example, Ole Miss was upset last week against an average LSU team, so how does that put Mississippi in the ‘Final-4?’

    And placing SUCLA in a major bowl?– Getoutttahere. Hundley was better last year.

  17. I didn’t know Jerry Palm hangs out at the Trojan Football practices, since when ? USC can go to the Holiday Bowl with 6 wins ? Because they way they have been getting out coached, technically the only win we should expect on their remaining schedule is against Washington State.
