  1. Last minute drives…. moonlit walks on the beach….Scottie is obviously quite enamored with Wilcox….

  2. Another sterling performance: “It’s not just one thing…our execution is the problem…there’s a lot that goes into that…”

You know what McKay famously quipped about “execution.”

In all seriousness, what’s Wilcox gonna say? If USC can’t stop WSU, maybe we’ll finally get some answers.

    • For those not initiated to McKay’s quips, it goes like this:

Asked what he thought of SC’s EXECUTION (in a game SC lost)
McKay replied, “I’m all for it.”

  3. I’m sorry, but the whole “Bend but Don’t Break” Defense is great during the game.. But it does not help get your defense off the filed and for the number of players USC has, that’s not good..
AND IT DOESNT WORK IN THE LAST MINUTES OF THE GAME!
Wilcox, needs to run more blitz packages on 3rd down and get the defense off the field.

  4. Teams score on last minute drives because the Trojan “Play-Caller” and Head Coach Steve Sarkisian consistently lets the opposing teams back into the game via Bad-Play-Calling !

And finally the opposing team scores because Defensive Coordinator Justin Wicox formulates a “Bend-but-don’t-Break” Defensive Strategy, there are “No” Winning teams who play along that kind of strategy !!

That means “2” additional “bad” Decisions by Athletic Director Pat Haden !!!

  5. (Parody of the classic Jack In The Box ad some 10 years ago – the condescending king ‘…I give you peanut butter….’ and the squire holding the plate saying “Hey where’s the butter?” King’s shrieking ‘Silence!”)

“I give you the return of Monte Kiffin II” ….. hmmm silence it is….

  6. Man who do so many coaches all look like they live in Manhattan Beach? You know the drill – two day growth of beard, visor or baseball cap and cruising in an SUV (preferable dark olive green) with a wind breaker and the ‘de rigeur’ pair of shades…..

Go Justin! Give us something to think about instead of focusing on you!

  7. Wilcox is masking his mistakes with football lingo, nomenclature he knows few fan understand. Which doesn’t disguise the fact it’s basic BS nor right the wrong coaching approach that leave his players back peddling and losing these close games. Wilcox is a serious problem, make no mistake about these clear stated words.

  9. His main answer was the offensive plays made by the other team during the last minutes of the game were no different than what they saw earlier in the game, but executed better. What he didn’t say, the defense couldn’t defend against those same plays when the players were gassed having been on the field the majority of the 4th period due to the offense not making 3rd down plays with Sark’s playcalling. The team isn’t full of juniors & seniors, Sark. You have to give them plays other than running up the middle, off tackle or throw a sideline pass where the other team is waiting for it!

  10. I’ll play the video when I have friends over for comedy night laughs , I love to hear million dollar assistant coaches give stupid excuses after a couple of beers.
