The Gooold Sheet

The venerable betting publication, the Gold Sheet, picks USC to defeat California, 34-24.

“The Trojans are better balanced with RB Buck Allen (1124 YR, 5.9 ypc), and stronger
on defense (22.6 ppg vs. the Bears’ 39.9).”

  1. And STILL no comment by Scottie regarding this mornings Josh Shaw story…. I certainly hope that the sports editor of the DN is chewing him a new one…..

    • We get plenty of updates on helmet glossiness and what Pete Carroll is doing.
What more “Inside USC” information do you need?

    • No reason for Wolfie to comment. As usual, he didn’t dig up any of the info or interview anyone. No answers supplied. Business as usual for Wolfie who is more interested in a cut-n-paste from the “venerable” Gold Sheet.

      • I guess that this whole Josh Shaw story wasn’t as big a deal as Scottie had lead us all to believe…..

    • Is Josh Shaw selling version 2.0 rescue yarn? CB wants desperately to believe it.

  2. Are we supposed to read that like Goldfinger ” I love goooold.” Or more like the Love Boat theme “The Goooold Sheet, soon we’ll be blowing another one.”

    • Goldfinger as in “I loooooove gooooooing to the proctologist for my annual exam!”……

  3. Scotty writes a story mocking how Kessler is not being considered for Heisman and ignores Buck Allen is getting considered. This is all you need to know about Scotty and his attempt at journalism. If it does not fit his moldy attempt at “I know better or I told you so slant” it won’t come from Scotty

    • I guess Allen’s 39 extra garbage time yards at Washington St. helped Allen into Heisman notoriety. LOL. SUCC tradition crawls on.

      • Nobody knows about little gutty Perkins. Typical. If Perkins went to USC, he’d be famous! Not. He’d be backing up Allen. Boo hoo.

        • Put Perkins in the same backfield as Kessler and you would have 2 of the most underrated players around. Both of them are fine players without much publicity.

          • Agreed. Be honest. Who would you rather have, Allen or Perkins and who do you think will win the Pac-12 rushing title?

Perkins is simply overshadowed by dynamos Jack and Hundley. Kessler can’t really run or complete long passes consistently.

          • I would rather have Allen over Perkins as a RB. I think Perkins is a better receiver out of the backfield. Polamalu has done a great job with Perkins this year.

        • The difference between the two Jack is Perkins doesn’t need garbage time yards to pad his stats.

      • I just want to know why you are jocking the USC stats… I couldnt tell you the stats of the SUCLA RB or his back up, or last years or incoming recruits..
        Keep loving the Trojans..

  4. We are the biggest joke. Our whole program needs a Troylet flush. I know it is hard to accept, but I am stating the truth.

    • True all of UCLA hacks hanging on USC website is quite a joke. The obsession is flattering and confusing at the same time.

      • This has nothing to do with UCLA. This is about our sorry situation. It is ok to cry. I know you are sensitive and confused. Maybe coach Sark will let you cry on his shoulder.
