    • Hopefully, Leonard’s not thinking that way…. and I don’t think Hundley is either…

  1. And so SUCLA is in a position that they could play for the national championship if they win out.

SC would be in the same position except for the ASU loss. Of course, if SC wins that game their physiology and mindset change, and perhaps they don’t win the subsequent Arizona game.

  2. The coaches are the ones who need to know how to finish. Time and again USC gets up on someone, and then goes into the turtle shell to protect their lead. Sometimes this has worked and sometimes it hasn’t. If they do not go balls out for four quarters UCLA will embarrass the Trojans. As far as UCLA playing for the national title. It won’t happen. The only way a west coast team gets into the final four is if they are undefeated or have one loss. Simple as that.

      • But it is the coaches fault for going into a prevent defense at the end of the first half and on into the second half. Which let Cal back into the game.

        • If the players do not leave those 3 touchdowns on the field.. That would not matter..

I do not like the prevent defense or “bend, but not break” defense, but the players need to take ownership and execute.. We would not be that close of a game
