Josh Shaw Returns

Josh Shaw practiced at cornerback today. Steve Sarkisian said Shaw “looked fluid” and could potentially play against UCLA. Shaw did not speak to the media.

Neither Sarkisian nor defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox  were specific about Shaw’s role but he could also play special teams.

Sarkisian said he hoped to hear something on tight end Bryce Dixon today or tomorrow.

  1. I seriously doubt Shaw is in game shape and if I was UCLA I would immediately go after him if he plays CB. I don’t see him playing defense until the game is a blow-out.

        • That means nothing. I heard he’s ripped and in the best shape of his life. You’re wrong.

          • Nice attempt to avoid the real issue here – that you made a prediction based on a dumb assumption.

          • And what’s up with that pic? What are you intending to represent? Are you a trojan or not?

          • What’s Helen going to do? She’s on the fence – doesn’t know in what to believe. By the way, ucla has still won crap over the past ~6 decades in football – 60 years, dude! Way before your time,

Charlie. I’m not sure you addressed what happened to this “dream” season for your confused football program. Losing to Utah at home? Getting smoked by Oregon – at HOME! Geez!

        • Besides, our players regress under this coaching staff’s guidance. I think Josh is better off without any advice from these idiots.

    • Helen, you seem to be the only trOXan supporter who grasps the fact that getting up to game speed takes time in any sport, and in football, aside from QB, CB is probably the hardest position to get up to game speed for. you’re covering the other teams fastest guy going backwards half the time. we will go right after him no doubt about it. safety is a better bet but still risky.

      • What do you know about sports? You’ve never competed in anything (I take that back, you probably participated in a few cheer-leading meets). Sorry.

        • And Charlie, ucla has still not won crap since the god knows when. This was supposed to be the year, right? Ha!!!!

          • UCLA 35 – succ 14 last year at the crumbling mausoleum. Regardless what happens this Sat. UCLA will not come close to SUCC’s failure and humiliation of the “Unfinished Bidness” season.

Rusty Skow, take your SUCC history and stick in the trash, because it has zero bearing on Sat’s game. UCLA will be at the RB Nov. 22, ready to go.

Can Clown U. say the same thing.

          • On one hand, you implore Rusty to “take your SUCC history and stick in the trash, because it has zero bearing on Sat’s game.”…….on the other hand, the most recent history of last year and history the “Unfinished Bidness” season was just too convenient for you not to use against us, eh grandpa?…… I know…. your trademark “Yawn” will be your response….

          • Cigar Butt, neither will succ’s failed, humiliating “Unfinished Bidness,” season have any bearing on succ’s third straight loss at the beautiful RB, Sat., Nov 22, 2014.

Cigar Butt, you just love to prove, again and again, what a stupendous, half-baked SUCC simp you are.

  2. Scotte could only WISH that he “looked fluid” like Shaw……heck, like Zach Banner…..
