Was UCLA LB Eric Kendricks Inbounds On Interception?

USC coach Steve Sarkisian said he heard back from the Pac-12 this week regarding UCLA linebacker Eric Kendricks’ interception in the first half. The play caused a replay review before he was deemed inbounds.
“They confirmed that he was inbounds,” Sarkisian said. “They had a pretty good shot from the TV copy they were able to zoom in on. They confirmed it. It was a heckuva play. They confirmed that call.”

  1. It is a moot point it looks like he was out of bounds when he controlled the ball, but on paper the Trojans looked like they could compete -it’s all in the eye of beholder.
As noted by trolls herein Ucla scored more points. In fact they didn’t score any points on this play.

      • The bruins scored points because their offense moved the ball and USC didn’t. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that the interseption may have changed momentum but it really can’t change the score now.

  2. Great play … didn’t matter ucla could have scored whatever they needed in 2nd half
    Complete coaching mismatch

  3. REGARDLESS…I am really sure if Pac 12 reviews something it is as good as gold and an absolute truth…how about you???

  4. A real turning point in this game. SUCLA had a 17-14 lead, and SC was driving. SUCLA then marched down the field to end the half at 24-14, completely demoralizing the SC team.

  5. What about the DE being offside? Watching it live it was clear he was offside and caused the pressure. Watch the tape and he’s off before the snap. I knew pac 12 refs were inept, but to miss 2 calls on one play is another level for them.

  6. He was out of bounds by the time he had control. It was a bad call and definitely a turning point in the game. I think UCLA probably would have won either way as USC looked over-matched all over the field, but this definitely didn’t help. This wasn’t the only help Sucla got from the refs, either.
