Coliseum Dome

ALL.STATE.COLISEUM

Thanks to Allstate Insurance, we can see what would happen if the Coliseum were turned into a domed stadium. If the roof is retractable, it just might fly in L.A. And it might justify those personal-seat licenses.

  1. You know those crowd numbers dip when we have to sit in that blazing 90 degree sun the first few games at the beginning of the season. And then those freezing 60 degree fall evenings…

  2. Leave it alone – they destroyed the once noble Soldier Field, JFK in Philadelphia is gone over 30 years now..Yankee Stadium is a re-model of the original w.o. the sense of history.

It is the very last of the ‘old’ municipal stadiums still in use with a record of ‘who’ ‘what’ and ‘when’ that no other stadium can boast not even the truly beautiful Rose Bowl – leave it alone and bring sun block or dress warmer.

  3. I thought Domed Stadiums were for bad weather ? This is sunny California isn’t it ?
