  1. Obviously sports writers are not gonna vote for Kiffin so soon. But he deserved the credit he got. Did you vote for Kiff, Scotty?

  2. The Ohio State whiz did the job– losing a first string quarterback before the season began, having to go with an inexperienced 3rd stringer in the championship game

Kiffin did not “come up short,” he was simply beat out by a coach who had an even better year than the Kiff.

    • Agree. He did a great job with QB Sims, and he focused 100% on what he loves–offense.

I did notice that he targeted Cooper an awful lot. I tend to think that’s not an ideal strategy. Doesn’t mean I’m right.

    • When Kiffin is not in charge he is a successful Offensive mind.. Its when he wants to do what he wants, is where he has failed..
Only reason why Kiffin did not win is because Ohio St won with 3 different QB’s after injuries.

  3. Does anybody give a damn about this award? I think Ohio St. plays Alabama in a few weeks. We’ll see how the Brody Award winner does in that one.

  4. Watch Kiffin go Vince Young on Ohio St. and take out not winning the award on their defense.

  5. Lane Kiffin stepped into an already made situation for success, he didn’t have to recruit any of the players that are making him look good, he’s riding the leadership skills of Nick Saban , and he’s surrounded by all the talent in the world. So he really hasn’t been tested as to whether or not he has changed.
