Former USC tailback LenDale White spoke with Vice Sports. I believe this interview was going to be done at the Coliseum before USC refused permission.
A couple excerpts: “I honestly believe our defensive coordinator from USC wasn’t doing a good job . . I had said he needed to get fired. I still stand by that today.
“I don’t want washed-up coaches or people that haven’t won with other teams to come take over my team when you haven’t proved yourself somewhere else yet.”
“I hate to see USC lose especially to bums. It angers me.”

You want to know how pathetic you truly are? The day Stanford crushed ucla Troy Aikan’s number was retired during half-time of that memorable battle lost by bel-air tech.
Here’s the clincher of ucla’s idea of an accomplishment:
“He (Aikman) led the Bruins to victory
over Nebraska at the Rose Bowl, helped UCLA earn a No. 1 ranking for two
weeks..”
The issue isn’t Aikman – it’s a wreck of a football program proud of being ranked for two weeks – funny how that year ended for bel-air tech.
