    • That’s right! Everybody gonna love Sark after this recruiting class – I thought he did great for his first year on Offense, we just need some bad a s s defenders, and a couple big-time TE’s, and it’s ON!

      • Wolf, unless Sark drastically improves his play-calling (Helton is there?) and unless Wilcox learns how to adjust his game plan (USC Defense has fallen from a Top 10, 2013 to the mid 60’s this year with more talent 2014 than 2013!) preferably with the pass-rush of Pendergast, then all the Talent in the world on a Trojan Team is all-for-not !

        Winning is Everything !!

With “no” excuses that we lack recruit numbers (See 2013, better Team with less numbers)

Some (Too Much!) of the play calling on both sides of the ball (Offense and Defense) 2014 were incomprehensible showing lack of competence !!

I have nothing against Sarkisian but watching him coach (Sometimes with his hands over his eyes like, “I can’t believe that just happened”) and his decision making is not a “sign” of strength…

        FightOn

        • Agree fully. Sark will need to step up to the plate big-time or Haden will let him go. The problem then is, who do we get as a coach? Only sure things at ALA and OHIO ST. Everyone else is a gamble, just like Sark was and is.

          • And McKay, Robinson…, were too.

Point is, you don’t know what you’ve got until a couple of years, maybe longer. I’m not too sure comparing Sark to PC (a great defensive mind) is fair. Sark, who thinks he’s a great play caller) came into USC with the nickname Seven Win Sark. With some of the games lost this year (and no, it wasn’t always about depth), you could see why Sark earned his moniker the hard way.

          • In my eyes, he’s done all good things – brought a winless Washington program to an 8 Win regular season team (despite his “moniker”) – yes, the Defense flat out was terrible at points this year, that’s easy to recognize, but Sark is an Offensive mind, like you said, we just need to shore up the D and all is good! Way too early to judge Sark, like lots of these guys do.

          • I’m open-minded on Sark. And I tend to like coaches with defensive backgrounds more. But we shouldn’t pretend Sark had any more than an average year at best. BC beat us bad (absolutely no excuse for that) and ASU made us look stupid (3 TDs in the last 3 mins?). So I wouldn’t say he’s done all the good things. His D stinks (yes, that’s his responsibility too) and sometimes his play calling was horrible. He’s got a shot but this being his sixth year as a HC, I thought he would be better prepared.

          • The gaps in the middle of the field need to be corrected – from the line, linebackers, and safeties – otherwise the ends and corners did great!

          • The gaps in the middle of the field need to be corrected – got some linebackers and safeties on the way!

        • You realize on D we lost Wright, Bailey, Shaw, Breslin, Woods, Kennard, and Ruffin. Maybe that had a little bit to do with the defense dropping? Also had 5 freshman starting on offense at one time but none of that matters.

    • UCLA – 2015 = Really Bad Team !

Better “Hope” that Rosen is better than “The Elite 11” he showed in Oregon and that he is ready to go now, Towne beat him considerably and Towne is not yet ready to start a College Football game !!

UCLA does not have a 7 win quarterback 2015, in fact the Bruins don’t have a “5” win quarterback 2015 !!!

      UCLA = Really-Bad-2015
      USC = Really-Good-2015

Oregon, Stanford, UCLA had their last good year 2014

P.S. Watch USC finish with the Number-1 recruiting class 2015

      Watch…

      FightOn

      • If K goes, and he will if he has any brains, what’s in SUCC’s QB tank – Max “Overthrow” Browne?

UCLA will do fine with Rosen, while SUCC will sink with 4 QB’s totaling zero snaps in a Pac-12 game. SUCC’s future is Uggggly.

        SUCC on Ricky

        • If he has any brains? I like Kessler, but lets not kid ourselves, he isn’t ready for the NFL. He knows that and the scouts know that. He will be back next year.

          • being ready and going are hardly the same thing. Just ask all the guys who jumped ship last year over at old Yesterday U!

          • SUCC has zero chance for a 2015 NC run.

Why should K risk injury and another lousy, Choke Sark Choke season, in lieu of earning $$$$ on an NFL bench learning an NFL trade?

K would be foolish to return, He’s definite third round or slightly better draft pick if K does well against NEB.

      • Funny that you love the Elite 11… in that case, you’ll love Woulard, who won the thing and studied under Hundley for the past 2 years.

      • Only 4 count’em 4 major contributors are gone after 2014, the whole team is back sad day for Clown College

  1. Check this guy’s tape out. Should be a real weapon. Super athletic and plays a tough, versatile game. Great hands, big target, fluid, likes to mix it up.

Scout only lists him as a 3-star guy. Whoever’s doing their evaluations must be nuts, seriously. Makes me literally think Scout has housewives on its ratings/rankings staff. If Scout doesn’t fix its service, they’ll never catch Rivals, regardless of who they have as publishers.

  2. You know the baby bears are full of insecurity when you see so many of their TROLLS posting on a subject like this. Pathetic.

  3. Perfect match! TE #7 goes to about the 7th best team in the conference playing for a coach who always wins 7 games. Booom!!!!

  4. Here come the bruin trolls again. Something’s never change-bruins have no class, have Penis envy toward SC, thus they spend of their time(when not in their Mother’s basement) on SC board. Congrats ucla, once again you are champions of the offseason.

  5. You should probably go after more 2 stars like Scooby Wright. That’s how you build a program.

  6. If you weren’t envious, you wouldn’t be on our board. ucla went 9-3, and to hear you clowns describe it, it is the greatest season in your schools history. You will always be the “little brother”, representing the public school, where your professors have degrees and smarts, but no wisdom.
Be honest Trogan, you voted for Obama(twice) didn’t you.

  7. Do you think he will be on the sidelines to watch SC out-coached by a lame duck HC at the Barely Rated Bowl in San Diego?
Makes sense the 7th rated tight end would pick Second Choice in LA since the Number One rated tight end is already at UCLA.
