Speaking Of Signature Victories

ENFIELD.USA,TODAY,SPORTSStudents rushed the court after Oregon State upset No. 7-ranked Arizona last night. Washington State upset Washington in Seattle on Saturday night. I realize Andy Enfield is still on a honeymoon because he A.) inherited no talent B.) has a young team C.) make up your own excuse.

But it didn’t take new coaches Wayne Tinkle (Oregon State) or Ernie Kent (Washington State) long to get big wins in their first seasons and no one said they inherited a lot of talent.

  1. Andyain’twinnig’s signature feat, finishing dead last in Pac 12 Basketball competition. And he’s recruited Betty Boatman.

    • To accurately call a person a rapist in the US, a person must be convicted of rape in a court of Law. Kindly Lopez remind us when and where this rapist you claim Alford defended was convicted.

The only reason I don’t claim you’ve done your burro is because I burned the evidence. Lopez, you, Sas, and 8 krap are all rolling down the same sewer.

      • So Bill Cosby and O.J. are innocent.

You like to cherry pick the truth along with the other SUCLA vermin on this blog.

But it doesn’t matter; you punks are easy to dismiss

        • Trolls beware, Jersey Johnny is on the moral outrage warpath.

I have never called OJ a murderer on this blog. In fact, I stay way away from OJ ref’s because he’s such an easy SUCC target – like TM and Jr. Seau.

Bill Cosby is another story. Even though the – where there’s smoke there’s fire syndrome – seems to fit Cosby’s case, I still can’t label Cosby a rapist unless convicted of rape.

Tell me Jersey, Does Geo. W. Bush exacerbate your moral outrage?

      • there should be a statue of Sam Gilbert who bought all those fraud champsionships at Thug U err ugly.

  2. Or the Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak.

On April 3, 2011, it was announced that Krystkowiak would take over the head coaching position for the University of Utah men’s basketball team.

After being named Utah’s head coach, eight players left the program to play elsewhere. Krystkowiak was forced to bring in several junior college and walk-on players to fill his depleted roster. In a season where starting center, David Foster, missed the entire season and starting point guard, Josh Watkins, was dismissed halfway through, Krystkowiak and the Utes struggled to a 6-25 finish, including only three wins against their new Pac-12 opponents.

The 2012-2013 season showed much improvement for Krystkowiak’s Utes. On March 9, 2013, Utah closed out its season by defeating No. 19 Oregon. Utah then defeated USC and California in the first and second rounds of the Pac-12 tournament before losing a rematch with Oregon, the eventual champion.

Krystkowiak’s third season saw the 2013-2014 Runnin’ Utes reach their first postseason tournament under the coach. Utah had a 21-12 record, receiving an at-large bid to the NIT.

  3. wolfman, you powers of observation are matched only by your, your…..wolfman, NOTHING matches your powers of observation!!!

you see everything, you hear everything, you are a chiseled, Kiff bashing, super scoooping, blogging MACHINE!!!!

    #AUUUUUU-WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  4. You doan’t know what you mean. An ESL class or two might help on the job.

  5. Wolfie- for some reason you have a hard on for Enfield, but if beating a stumbling UDUB team is a signature victory for a first year coach, then I guess winning on the road vs. a 25-9 team that gets to the sweet sixteen easily makes the cut. Which is exactly what a talent depleted SC squad did in beating Dayton last year. If you were an intellectually honest journalist(which you clearly aren’t) you haven’t noted that. Enfield is adding talent and will be successful at SC, and I am sure that makes you upset. Go blog for someone else’s team
