USC Morning Buzz: Roster Moves

We hear wide receiver-defensive back Rahshead Johnson left USC because he was unhappy about redshirting and that he also clashed with coaches during the season, which is one reason he switched between offense and defense.

Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu, who got into a fight with a teammate in San Diego and was sent home before the Holiday Bowl, is also no longer at USC. Neither figured prominently in the future but again mean less players overall in the program.

  1. uh-oh, starting again, the excuses are, hmmm?

much pressure i sense with the top recruiting class?

a natty, you must win to avoid Total Failure.

remember, there is no try, there is only do or do not!

    herh herh herh!

    • There are several preferred walk ons (and unknown transfers) who may benefit from the scholarship. We’ll be at where everyone else is, the high 70’s or low 80s. (No one maxes because they too have to be open to big time transfers and they also have preferred walk ons who are trying to make the scholie cut.) We don’t have a numbers problem anymore fortunately. I dunno if that answers.

  2. “We look forward to him rejoining the team this summer,” USC’s sports information director, Tim Tessalone, told the Times regarding the linebacker’s future status with the program.

The Orange County Register writes that “it is believed that Nwosu could be eligible to play next season even after missing the spring semester.”

Scott Wolf – “Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu, who got into a fight with a teammate in San Diego and was sent home before the Holiday Bowl, is also no longer at USC. Neither figured prominently in the future but again mean less players overall in the program.”

    • Wasn’t little Timmy Tessalone, the guy that cranked out the original Clown U., stop the presses, news flash, Josh Shaw, SUCC Hero, “rescue yarn” tangent? Tangy Timmy tall tales.

Apparently ate Krap is one those people that can be fooled all of time.

    • Fair point!

On the other hand, whatever Nwosu’s plans are, if there were zero questions about his return, it would seem to be to his advantage to take Spring classes at USC. So maybe Scott heard that there are some complications beyond two aggressive 18-year-olds arguing with each other–a relative non-problem. Many commenters assume that Scott doesn’t know a soul inside USC. I assume the opposite.

      • Scott knows plenty of people in and around the USC program, that I wouldn’t question……how he chooses to present his information and do his job is an entirely different matter…

          • Eureka! He is busted. Today I pulled up behind a Nissan Leaf with a SUCC Lic. plate. It instantly reminded me of Cheap Cigar Bleauz, whom curiously disappeared after the UCLA Slaughter.

Bleauz/ate Krap is still rolling down hill.

  3. Scott, sounds like USC is falling apart. You will let us know if anything good happens at USC right?

  4. Quote a source lair. He was moved because SC was overload a receiver and he left because of playing time. I gave it a year to see if you would improve. No such luck. Bye, I’ll check back in a year.

      • Typo, liar, one who tells lies. But you knew that. What’s your deal? I get somebody who wants to stay objective, that’s not Wolf. An objective person would have something positive to report on now and then.

        • A rah rah demands only good things (WeareSUCCKS)…Sounds like you’d be very happy over there.
KOOL AID FOR everyone!…especially the CLOWNS!

          • Why would anyone feel the need to troll this simple statement? Are the ALL CAPS inserted to add emphasis or are you angry? I’m not sure what WaareSUCCKS is referring to, of course I’m sure it must be a really insulting term. If only I understood troll I’m sure I would be insulted, however I don’t, so I’m left more with a feeling of pity. Is ThaiMex a reference to your heritage?

          • What, are you twins, or did you forget you already made the same comment under another name? You forgot to add emphasis with ALL CAPS, and a KOOL AID reference ThaiMex, gotroy22, or whatever name you log on with next time. And you didn’t answer my other question, is ThaiMex a reference to your heritage of the fusion menu you prefer?

    • With Payton out of the mix, the Trojans now have four scholarships remaining for the class with four main targets remaining: Porter Gustin, Rasheem Green, John Houston and Iman Marshall.

      • And that would make this year’s class better than last year’s class – which proved on the field that they were the best in college football.

  5. A commit becomes a commit with a LOI. Right now it means very little. Lets see what comes in on LOI day.
