USC Picture Of The Day

1960.USC.UCLA

USC students stage a mock burial of UCLA following the Trojans’ 17-6 victory in 1960. This is one of those sign of the times pictures. Can you imagine this type of ceremony being staged today?

  1. Are you kidding me?– Times and people have gotten rougher and meaner. Today’s kids might have a real dead bruin in that box.

But the haircuts and clothing are a sign of the times. Short hair and square-looking clothes– no wonder it was hard being a cute guy in those days.

    • Come on Ugly Bucket, we all know you are a racist.

And now you are going crazy on the blog with your ThaiMex persona and even the Count Smackula routine being brought out after a long hiatus.

The ThaiMex routine is disgusting, and displays your true racist feelings, whereas the Count is your best attempt at humor

  3. People had a sense of humor back then…if I remember correctly it rained ‘sorta’ and my brother and I enjoyed it anyway and watched the frosh game too…I think the McKeever Bros were at SC then and it was McKays first season…btw the team had that guys colored folks …
