Perhaps the best story before Signing Day was when Ohio State coach Urban Meyer went to a basketball game to watch linebacker Porter Gustin. After the game, Meyer approached a teammate of Gustin’s and introduced himself, unaware it was not Gustin.
Today’s story involves standout quarterback Seth Green of Woodbury, Minn., a top 2016 prospect already committed to Oregon. And this also involves basketball. During a playoff game, Green took an inbounds pass and drove for an easy layup with about 20 seconds left . . . in the other team’s basket.
Green’s team led by one point before his wrong-way basket and ended up losing 70-65.
It’s not really a shocker, but guess who has the best marching band in college football?

And how is that related to football recruiting?
According to Scott, Best Story = Anyone who makes a complete fool of himself………..these “stories” happen to involve football recruits, so Scott somehow felt that it was relevant to share this information with us……
And I’m glad he did. That makes the line at Five Guys one person shorter right now.
Or any kind of recruiting?
Well, Scott is always “recruiting” trolls……He seems to attract 5 star trolls from all over SoCal…
Like yourself and the Rachel Maddow of Inside USC.
How insightful GayToy.
He is not quite Wrong Way Roy Riegels, but that had to have been mighty embarrassing.
How about this recruiting story. “I have it on good authority that C.J. Spiller is coming to USC.” That a boy Wolfie.
