That’s USC Professor Petraeus For Those With Short Memories

David Petraeus

One of the big stories today is that former CIA director and Army general David Petraeus agreed to plead guilty to mishandling classified materials. A possible penalty is a year in prison, $100,000 fine and five years probation.

Petraeus is also the “Judge Widney Professor” at USC’s Price School of Public Policy. Though few will probably mention that today.

  1. A peanuts fine, short worthless probation and prosecutors have already agreed – no jail. Hell, he’ll even get to keep his security clearance. All he did was provide lame fodder to his young book-writing mistress (who would ever believe such shenanigans?) and try to hide this affair. Wow. Earth shattering. Still holds a bigwig position at a private equity firm. Sign me up for his lectures. Sounds like a typical American hero.

    • Both Bruins and Trojans can be susceptible to “small brain” thinking. The blood flows south and even brilliant men make poor decisions. It may be time for America to grow up a little bit. Unless he shared classified information in the boudoir, one should not forget all his accomplishments.

      • Let’s not forget about the Secret Service and DEA Prostitution Scandal in Colombia, only a few short years ago…..

        • I wasn’t forgetting, just wasn’t part of the discussion. Maybe we should worry as much about hooker proliferation as nuclear? 🙂

          • I understand… I was just interjecting my 2 cents worth on the subject of “small brain” thinking and the gravitational flow of blood down south, and how men can make poor decisions, especially men with power…….

          • Absolutely 8 Krap. A Klown U grad opinion is only worth a measly $0.02.

Mommy and Daddy must be proud they wasted Klown U. tuition on you for such meager results.

  2. Scott, of course, has an interminably long memory……what’s the current status of Baby QB and Lane Kiffin, Scott?

  3. Typical Wolf. Find any dirt, however microscopic, on USC. Hey D-Bag, if you had done any research, which you are clearly allergic to, you would know that he basically fell on the sword on a trumped up charge to protect those higher up the chain of command. Would you be posting this if he taught at UCLA or Cal? No you wouldn’t. This why you are a hack of a “journalist” who has no more journalistic integrity than some high school kid writing for their newspaper. How do you look at yourself in the morning knowing how pathetic you are. You must be a sociopath.

  4. Scott… what happened with Jalen Greene?…. Reports are that he’s no longer with the team?

  5. The fact he is a USC professor is the truth.
It’s not your fault Scott if Trojans CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!
We want you on that wall, Scott. We need you on that wall. I mean the wall, not the balcony, that’s for team captains.
Keep up your good work defending the truth!

  6. Blah Blah Blah. Pled guilty to a misdemeanor. He’ll pay a fine and do community service. The events took place long before he joined the USC faculty. It is alarming how many men in ultra powerful positions of authority and trust risk everything to satisfy their lust. He controlled the most powerful army in the history of mankind. Makes you wonder WTF he was thinking.
