Quick Thought

USC.VCUFour years ago I was in Dayton for a First Four game between USC and VCU. It seems a lot longer than four years. How long until USC makes the NCAA Tournament again? Next year? The year after? Does Andy Enfield need to make the tournament next year to ensure coming back?

  1. I remember Nobs posting about how he had actually flown to Dayton to attend that game. I suppose he was telling the truth; who would lie about such a thing? I admit, I miss the old days when Nobs would file a “report” from Dayton or Corvallis or wherever, bragging about how he was having dinner in the nicest restaurant in some dumpy town.

      • No, no, not possible. Business at Lee & Associates is so booming he couldn’t possible have time to post!

        • Gary Bleauz has time to blog here morning noon and night despite having to run wearesc…NOBS has time.

  2. If Dave Rice still has a job at UNLV, Enfield should get at least one more year.

  3. 4 years were many pounds ago and thousands upon thousands of burgers and fries from 5 Guys, right Scotty?

    • If the footballs used by Matt Barkley were under inflated, then Scott’s gutt is definitely OVER inflated !!!!……..BTW…just in case the Cadre are stumped on what to buy Scott as a birthday gift, in Japan, Burger King are selling a Whopper scented perfume called “Flame Grilled”……

    • 4 Years were hundreds of Comic Con Conventions ago and last place finishes for you in the “Best Wookie Costume” contest, Golly-Nerd.

  4. USC is not going to the tourney next year. We have to witness another underachieving year under Andy, he then gets fired, and then hopefully we get a legit D-1 Power 5 coach and perhaps a tourney run in 2017, 2018. Damn. Long ways away.

  5. Andy Enfield needs to show the program is on a up swing to ensure a come back, because you can win 20 games in the Pac 12 and not get invited to the tournament. So let’s see a big improvement in the win column first, before we start talking about the big dance.
