Fairfax guard Lindsey Drew decommitted from Arizona State today after Coach Herb Sendek was fired. Drew was supposed to go to IMG Academy in Florida next year and then ASU. He could go to a college now if he chooses.
USC needs a point guard and Drew is 6-foot-3, which is bigger than Jordan McLaughlin.

if he’s a good player, I am sure he will go somewhere else. No offense, but having 2000 people at the home games and half are elementary school kids that got free tickets is not appealing to big time recruits, or if big time recruits that do sign there always end up transferring, even if the Galen Center is a beautiful venue, even I can admit that.

UCLA’s Rose Bowl: 91,136.
Washington’s Husky Stadium: 70,138.
ASU’s Sun Devil Stadium: 67,704 (after removal of sections in upper north endzone; previous capacity: 71,706).
Cal’s Memorial Stadium: 63,186.
Arizona’s Arizona Stadium: 56,037.
Oregon’s Autzen Stadium: 54,000.
Colorado’s Folsom Field: 53,613.
Stanford’s Stanford Stadium: 50,000.
Oregon State’s Reser Stadium: 45,674.
Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium: 45,017.
Washington State’s Martin Stadium: 35,117.
The point is that UCLA drew very well last year. Just because you have a lot of seats doesn’t mean you are going to fill them.
Both Pauley Pavilion and the Galen Center have a lot of seats. Pauley has been at about 50% capacity this year and Galen…well that’s been even uglier.
