    • ONE PART Vinegar….One part H2o, might work…, but since you’ve invented a NEW CATEGORY……, (MUNT)….best we go for the knockout…..50/50 DRAINO-H2o

      We don’t need another ebola…..
      fight On!

  1. Haden and Nikias should be shown the door. Any voting members of the Board of Trustees still serving from when Nikias and Haden ascended to their current positions should immediately resign in shame. And those life, honorary and trustees emeriti who enabled the voting members and Nikias/Haden all these years have disgraced the university and all Trojans.

  2. They should simply join the suit for tortious interference with business advantage. The school lost millions, and McNair lost hundreds of thousands, in addition to the damage to his reputation. This is what courts are for – awarding monetary damages. SC should take that cash and put it toward the athlete stipends which are in the works now for all major conference football programs.

  3. The lesson is, the NCAA isn’t a court of law where you can argue, file motions and legal maneuvers to avoid punishment or get a fair ruling. The NCAA is an organization that USC voluntarily joined and in so doing agreed to follow their rules and rulings. O J Mayo and Reggie Bush got unauthorized benefits and got caught. USC (Garret) chose to fight rather than cooperate and got slammed. Every school since has learned to go along and get along. That is what Haden/Nikias are doing now. No lawsuit will succeed. Move on.
One interesting point is the hiring of Kiffin pissing them off. The NCAA would have preferred SC hired a mediocre never push the rules kind of guy. That would have crushed the program. For all Kiffin’s problems at SC, he did keep the program winning through this mess.

    • Exactly….and how about the pathetic, irresponsible and irrational attempt to compare this with the OKC bombing tragedy:

“This evidence in this [Bush] case is, for example, [is] markedly stronger than in the OKC bombing case which was built entirely on circumstantial evidence,” (Rodney) Uphoff (NCAA coordinator of appeals) wrote. “In fact, there was no direct evidence that [Terry] Nichols was ever involved in the bombing plot.”

      • That is definitely over the top comparison. Garret must have really pissed them off to react like that!

    • Instead Garrett hired a mediocre, break the rules kind of guy instead of ponying up the money to bring in a top head coach. Kiffin gave us 7-6 with a loaded preseason #1 team and was fired the next season at the airport after the ASU humiliation on national television. Meanwhile Urban Meyer kept Ohio State at the top through probation.

      • Mediocre?! He kept on winning, kept players from jumping ship, a 10 win season. Oh, and his next job is at Alabama! What a bum!

          • Hey it’s BM! How was the Emerald City Comic Con, BM? I heard you, Jackie the Brony and, Golly-Nerd painted the town red.

        • Going 7-6 with a NC caliber roster and losing to the ruins and Irish may be acceptable to some but to real SC fans that was not merely mediocre. Kiffin was a disaster. You may be too young to know this but we’ve been on probation before and nobody jumped ship, Golden.

          • 8-5, 10-2,7-6, I guess lack of depth means nothing to you, any other school would not have had even winning records with what SC/Kiffin had to deal with, yes the house of cards fell apart for Kiffin at the end. But let’s move on better times are ahead and UCLA is toast.

          • Hey GT, prior to going on Klown U’s three year recruiting probation, Kiffy recruited a top twenty-five player class that was near or the #1 recruiting class.

Kiffy, following LOI day, was quoted saying something to the effect – Sanctions, what sanctions.
