Former USC defensive lineman Armond Armstead is suing USC because he said he suffered a heart attack in 2011. And this Sacramento Bee story said Armstead also suffered a heart attack in 2014. Armstead believes the cause of the heart attacks is that USC team doctors gave him the painkiller, Toradol.
The Klown U cocktail pays off big time. The SUCCsters whine about the NCAA, but ignore Klown U’s use of Toradol cocktails on its own players to mask debilitating injuries create new medical conditions. Klown U the Univ. – what a terrible joke!
Are you a doctor?
No JG I’m not. But Toradol, under medical supervision,is used to mitigate some Athletic injuries, and Armstead is suing Klown U for claimed medical complications due to Klown U’s misuse of Toradol.
Are you anything.
Strange that on this very thread you criticize someone for offering a medical opinion and here you are doing the exact same thing.
here you seem to know the specifics of this ongoing case.
KLownsTER is a expert on everything.
Except sports…….
Kraps, I’ve never used “North Dallas Forty” as a reference book like you have.
Shave you palm.
Are you anything?
The Klown U vs Armstead lawsuit has plenty of journalistic coverage.
Is The Rachel Maddow of Inside USC?
Perhaps you missed the irony.
Owns calls out Helen for offering a medical opinion on the subject and then immediately offers one of his own.
As usual JG is FoS. Kindly JG, indicate precisely Dr. Owns’ diagnosis you speak of. Doan’t be shy.
I was disappointed you had no comment for Dr Rachel’s layman’s diagnosis.
I’m very sorry that I disapointed you.
He said, she said. If my memory serves me correctly SC warned Armstead of his health issues and he and his family were not happy with the news. Then it led to his brother Arik our top commitment at the time to Decommit because of the whole situation. SC held him out from playing and led to his career ending at SC.
A second heart attack three years later would seem to indicate a defective heart condition and not Toradol. Didn’t Armond want to work out at USC on Pro Day and was turned down for medical reasons?
Yes. I remember bugging my friend asking him “what’s going on with Armstead, we need him in the lineup”. It was that SC was well aware of his health and was looking out for him not to cause anymore damage to his heart problems. The Armstead family thought he should be on the field. Later deciding to sue.
Dr Hilary/Helen indicates her medical opinion on Wolf’s Blog.
Who Knew Red was a Physician. H/H what Medical School you graduate. Where did you do cardiology residence?
Have you been consulted and retained by the defense as a cardiology expert?
she wouldda made a great “Company Doctor”.
The Rachel Maddow of Inside USC has a MD?
Silly for non-professionals to comment on medical issues.
Sad for the kid.
silly….coming from someone like you…who seeks advice from a Pest Control Company, because her OBgyn refuses to see her…
IT is a NASID…long extended use of them can cause problems in some people, stomach and stroke/heart;I have taken them for decades, since the ’70’s…I doubt he can prove it caused his heart attack,it seems to me SC doctors are overly careful,as other athletes before and after him have been judged not allowed to compete, and one went to Georgia and became an all american is in the pros, now.
You know southern cal is suspect when you have a guy named
T-bone as your team doctor.
