USC Gets An Awards Break

SLIMEDNot from the NCAA, of course. But last week the Kids’ Choice Awards show was held at the Forum. For the past few years it was at the Galen Center. That meant lanes on Figueroa Ave. would be shut down for a couple weeks and the men’s volleyball team would get kicked to the North Gym.

I’m sure the university did not want to lose the awards show to the Forum, which has also hurt the Galen Center by being a prime concert venue again. But for the rank-and-file USC employees and athletes, the show was not missed.

  1. I have a feeling Thaimex will have something to say about this.
    Just a hunch.

  2. Historical Marker: On this webpage on April 3, 2015, the Wolfman displayed a “glass half full” attitude toward something USC-related.

  3. Did someone who doesn’t have kids or isn’t a pete-o-file watch the kid choice awards? If you answered yes, then you’re the pete-o-file option.
