The Trojans defeat Arizona for the second straight night as Reggie Southall went 3-4 with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Bobby Stahel was 4-5 with 2 RBI and three runs scored. David Oppenheim was 3-5 with two runs scored. USC is 24-6 overall and 6-2 in the Pac-12.

Trojans really have it together this year. It has been 10 yrs. since they made the tournament getting to a Super Regional in Corvallis. This has to be the season with losing a few starting seniors and probably good junior pitching to the MLB draft. Hopefully USC will bid for having a regional at Dedeaux Field.

ucla won’t host anything at that dump at the VA, especially since they will finish behind USC
If they do it shall probably be the last time – and no not because of the possibility of their losing Jackie Robinson Field – it will be due to the horrific traffic the teams, officials, broadcasters encounter there.
