  1. Nice night for Trojans in the league. DeMar Derozan dropped 42 points the other night on James Harden for his career high and the win.

    • DeRozen had a big night last night, and as ususal for a SUCC BB player, he bricked the last Toronto shot for a loss

      • RENTS. How come Shaka Smart turned down the “all mighty head coaching job in Westwood”, but is now the new head coach for the Texas Longhorns?

        • I give saspool. You need to address your question to Coach Smart.

          Here’s a question for you:

Why has Klown U’s Men’s BB program won only five (5), Pac-12 games in 2 years?

          • That’s easy, coaching change translates into transfers. We’re still trying to recruit new kids. Jovanovic who is praised by McClean is softer than toilet paper, and not a player for an uptempo team. He’s the last of O’Neill’s players along with Jacobs. We are at the bottom. We can only go up. We have a lot to prove. But I think we get over the hump

          • I can’t answer that. But I do have a theory. When you get only 3,400 people in a arena that can seat 10,000 it only comes down to winning. The biggest crowds I seen were the year OJ Mayo played. It’s starts with winning, then the fans need to show up.

          • USC doesn’t really care about basketball. If, say in six or seven years, the talent base is built up so that USC becomes a 9 to 10 conference win team year after year, with NCAA tournament appears even other year or so, the administration will deem the program a success. But they don’t want to pay the HUGE bucks it would take to lure the Shaka Smart’s of the world.

Why did Sm,art go to Texas. Money, I would guess, but also the fact that the lanscape has shifted. College basketball is an Atlantic and Central timezone game. More talent there than on the West Coast.
