Pitcher Drew Finley, a USC commit from Rancho Bernardo, Calif., struck out 20 of 21 batters last week in a 2-1 victory over Ramona. Now the question is whether Finley will get drafted too high to go to college.

Wolf, why don’t you talk about USC’s easy schedules anymore? Is it because USC has the 2nd toughest non-conference schedule over the next 5 years, just behind Texas?
“The Longhorns’ schedule earned them a strength of schedule rating of 60.4, meaning that, by ESPN’s calculation, the average FBS team would lose 60.4 percent of its games if it faced the same non-conference schedule as Texas does over the next five seasons. The Trojans ranked second with an SOS rating of 59.2“
RAH RAH”S already working on excuses….
-If the guy in charge of the clock had started it on time…
-If the refs hadn’t of blown that call……..
-If they wouldn’t have completed that “hail mary”…..
-If the sanctions weren’t in place……
-If our roster wasn’t full of “special Admits”……
-if that tackle had BLOCKED Barr, just a little bit, Barks wouldn’t still be thinking the PHONE IS RINGING.
Get it?
fite UNG!!!!!
If Scott wouldn’t pander to the loser trolls. …..
Admittedly, the SUCkkss football team is a little better than “average”. So that 59.2 average works out to around 8-5 for the season..or, “TREMENDOUSLY SUCcesful”,
in the eyes of your racist head football coach.
MERCY NURSE!
Mai Tai Mix, plese do tell us what ugly has done with hundley, never mind, I will tell you. It was NOTHING. No Rose Bowl wins when it mattered on Jan 1, no league titles, No national championships, no heimans, nada, zich, zero, goose egg. Ugly was, is and always will be U Cockroaches Lose Again. Fight on!
Yes, but they do OWN a 3 game winning streak against their heavily sanctioned crosstown rivals, so life is good in Westwood…..
Bzzinga!
Who cares what you say, SAS posterized you!!
IF THAT GAME AGAINST THE MIAMI HURRICANES WAS PLAYED EARLIER IN THE SEASON AND NOT RESCHEDULED FOR OUR LAST GAME!!!
Comment of the year.
Thanks bro!
If only Reggie Bush had paid off the agent what was owed. 🙁
#BcsHopesHURRICANED
That is true.
It was the non-fumble fumble, not the time of year, that cost UCLA that game.
Neither team played defense, so whoever had the ball last was going to win. The phantom turnover stole a scoring opportunity from the Bruins.
Are you serious. Edgerin James just ran all over you. The Hurricanes owned the second half. And the weather was not on your side.
You’re not gonna want to hear this. No disrespect. But UCLA got exposed for not being able to stop the run. James didn’t get lucky. They ran convincingly. Then later in the Rose Bowl Ron Dayne had a field day on the Bruins. He smashed that day. I do believe Ucla beats Miami if the game was played earlier in the season.
UCLA had no defense that year.
Miami spared the ruins the embarrassment of a blowout loss in the BCS title game.
I say time of year because Miami was a mess at the start of the season and hit their stride later in the year
Good point.
If only USC didn’t have the most Rose Bowl wins and All-Americas in the history of college football and if only USC didn’t have the most NFL Hall-of-Famers and first round draft picks…maybe the Bridesmaid Uers wouldn’t be known as the pitiful little gutties.
If only your glorious past could suit up in defense of your humiliating present.
Ah! what is not a dream by day
To him whose eyes are cast
On things around him with a ray
Turned back upon the past?
Dream on.
Dude Ucla doesn’t even have a past.
(That misses the point.)
Actually the 1950s Happy Days era was their peak of their program.
Like I said…
UCLA had the the #1 SOS last year, according to the Playoff rankings, and they still went 10-3 with a final #10 ranking.
They had a great season, no doubt……and they are poised to have another great year…. but will they?
Wow, what a interesting question there, Garry Bleauz!
The ankle biting chihuahua finally woke up from his/her beauty sleep!
And your answer showed exactly how much you know about football…….
Yup. Congratulations to them for winning the PAC-12.
…er, PAC-12 South.
uhhh…. Hmm.
Just like Joc Pederson who was set to be a Trojan, Finley is going in the draft. He was in that All American game at Petco as a junior. Striking out all three batters he faced. He’s gonna be tough to pass on in the draft.
If there’s a potential negative spin to a story involving USC, rest assured Scott will find it!
And the Daily News TROLLS will be here!
Garry Bleauz only wants happy news!
He most likely will sign a professional contract after that performance.
Wouldn’t you?
