A Recent USC Tradition Ends

USC has canceled the Fountain Run, where seniors dash around the campus to the different fountains in various forms of clothing. It’s really something UCLA and other schools have done for years but only started at USC a few years ago.

USC student affairs said last year’s run caused almost $50,000 in damage and “$6,582 in ambulance costs (2014) and “73 medical calls over the last five years,” according to the Daily Trojan.

I wonder how many medical costs and ambulance costs were incurred at the Row the past five years? An outdoor block party called the Senior Run is now planned instead.

  1. A few years is not a tradition.

Is this like the tradition of the basketball MVP? In other words, no one cares and these aren’t traditions to anyone but SW.

  2. What about the trOXan tradition of calling NCAA Officials at their home to make threats of violence??

AT THEIR HOMES! Where their wives sleep….where their children go to play with their toys.

      • Sit down son…and I want you to listen
Why is it that every time a violent crime (MURDER, RAPE, CARJAcking, ASSAULT) occurs at/around SUCKKss, and one of us mentions the tragedy here, on Scotty’s bloq, YOU start with the name calling and the ugliness? Is it because you are SHAMED and embarrassed? YET….you have no problem frequently bringing up a piece of information that once stated UCLA is an unsafe Campus? (Where does SUCCkks show up in the same survey? They don’t show! You know why? It’s because SUCCKKS does not report that information because they are a PRIVATE school and are not required to do so. All of us know it is in the school’s best interest not to let that kind of overwhelmingly terrible information out). The THREATENING of NCAA Officials is not some PRANK drawn up by some UCLA Fans. U Stupid Clowns screw up time and time again. The school’s reputation remains intact. (I hope the NCAA takes appropriate action against You CLOWNS)
        fite UNG!

Tradition? That suggests multiple occurrences. Can you show us any examples? We don’t even know the source of these threats.

      Go ahead and list ’em.

  3. MATURE ASIAN DATING FOR MEN

Apparently SW is not only a member, he is also the president.

    • And I remember when homers here didn’t even count women’s sports. Congratulations USC Women’s Beach.

      • Having grown up in Huntington Beach, I guess I have a soft spot in my heart for volleyball…..probably not so much, had I grown up in Victorville…

  4. This is not a new tradition. I went on my first fountain run at USC almost 20 years ago. Just because you weren’t invited during your undergrad years, SW, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

  5. Shocked to see SW pile on the fraternities. I’m sure he was a real treat during rush.
