Here’s a wonderful picture of Traveler from 1965. The first thing that stands out is the pose. That might be considered too dangerous today. The other is how easy it would be for fans to come on to the field.

Boy, look at all those white shirts in the crowd. What a bunch of dorks.
‘Twas the style back then, youngster…….
Only at Klown U – prissy bunch of Methodist Klowns.
Don’t so sure, Mr. Atheist……..
I’m down on prissy Methodists so therefore I’m an atheist. Kraps nails Klown U Logic.
What wrong with Methodists? Every time you say something it makes you look worse.
Pray steveg, what be a Mothodist?
we had to wear white shirts in student section ,it was for the 1/2 time card show
I saw Traveler eat it on the damp track at an SC vs Oklahoma game, probably early 80’s? Totally wiped out with Richard Sakho riding…
HAWR-HAWR!!!!

Not sure what’s funny. It was a difficult spill for the animal and rider. The point is that Scott is right, things were a lot less restricted in the past, even the recent past. Grateful to have seen so much great stuff.
Just like the Klown U FB team.
Scott, did someone give you a copy of the 1965-1966 El Rodeo. This photo and the Campus photo from several days ago both came from that El Rodeo.
Scott has no limits when it comes to plagiarizing……even stuff from over 50 years ago!
Of course Kraps has never plagiarized somebody else’s original material.
And try to pass it off as my own, like Scott?… NEVER…..
Kraps, you just can’t let an anchovy on a hook pass you by can you?
Are you calling me a hooker?
Do you know what plagiarizng is, Garry Bleauz?
I know it when I see it……..it’s almost a daily occurrence on this P.O.S. blog
The first sentence by itself was all that was needed, more is not necessarily better.
What does bel-air tech have to counter – ‘yogi and yogie bears’ – the best is the ‘oso’ in the powder blue pj’s.
They stole Cal’s fight song…..they play in an 80 yd. practice field, they’re on the bubble trying to hold onto to their baseball park….then again there’s alwasy the sarcophagus for the peckerhead
And kick Klown U FB a*s three straight times.
Bottoms up Otis. Jane Fonda forever.
