  1. Great post from a great young man. Showed us all what it means to never give up.

The silly part is some trolling bruin who has nothing better to do than troll, will probably stop by and say something negative.

  2. Dion Jordan suspended from the entire 2015 NFL Season. Just add him to the list of Oregon Duck busts.

Akili Smith, Joey Harrington, and now Dion Jordan.

    Fight On Buck!!

  3. I will give Ruins fans credit about one thing. You don’t see the same amount of lionization of athletes who actually graduate. The USC Boards are filled with condescending “Congrads to a fine young man and upright citizen!” Some the older geezers on the boards are saying things that amount to “Such a credit to his race!” Jeez Louise.

When someone graduates at UCLA, you see some of that, but many more times it isn’t addressed. I wish it were more that way at the USC boards.

Buck Allen is going to get a college degree. Good. But then, as a college student, he should, especially if he is there for four years. It’s not like he invented Warp Drive.

BTW: This is not a troll post on Buck Allen. It is a troll post to all the commenters who act like this akin to winning a Nobel Prize.

      • I understand that it is Congrats, not Congrads. And that there is no such word as “irregardless”. But I also enjoy poking humorless, predictable, D-Bag Ruin trolls like you, so . . .

        • Silly Trogan. Irregardless is in fact a word – a nonstandard word, but a word nonetheless.

    • Speaking of inventing the Warp Drive… When I was a student at SC, I attended a subdued groundbreaking ceremony for the blacklist monument that now stands (sits?) over by the Fisher gallery along Expo on the south edge of campus. (It was an odd event, in that it was obviously very film-related, and a few persons affiliated with the film school were there, but the film school didn’t want to officially have anything to do with such a sensitive topic, and we were on the other end of the campus).

They had recruited several actors to read from blacklist-related historical documents and various freedom-related texts. Among them was James Cromwell, only a year or two after he had played the inventor of the warp drive in Star Trek: First Contact. I remember a student joking about how he should go up to Cromwell and say, “I’m not crazy, I know it’s just a movie, but I had some ideas about the warp drive, and I figured you would be the guy to talk to!”

Sadly, he didn’t actually approach Cromwell about it.

    • nice post george…..a little shorter than your usual posts….but right to the point…and that’s goooooood.
      figt un

  4. I think God is just ok. He seems pretty spiteful sometimes.

Related, how’s Hayes Pullard’s letter begging teams to look at him? Classic Trogan move.

  5. Kudos for him…..Its hard enough going to school, but to do that AND do football means shows dedication.
    This transcends UCLA vs USC

  6. So what does he want? A cookie? You are suppose to graduate! I guess at least he is not in jail or jumping off balconiess to save his nephew!
